Awesome product! Keeps my water cold all day

This was my 3rd hydrocell, I ordered this one as a gift cause I loved how well they kept drinks cold and no moisture build up. Well today we added ice (about 1/2full) to our water bottle, along with water, like I do with the other 2 and the ice completely melted before noon and there was condensation on the table from where it sat. This one is defective :( and I'm really bummed. I have been recommending these like crazy too, now It came back to haunt me. Is there anyway to get it refunded? Or a different one shipped in replacement?

I just bought this, my second HydroCell water bottle - this one a 30 oz. - because my first (20 oz) was the object of such envy. Gifted this to my hubbie, so now my husband has his own HydroCell and can keep his own drinks cold or hot without borrowing mine. ;) The HydroCell keeps stuff cold for at least 12-15 hours (my ice cubes are still there). It'll keep things hot for a good 8 hours. Part of the duration depends on where/how the bottle is kept. In hot sun inside the car, the cold time might be a little shorter; in a freezing cold car, the hot time might change a bit. Overall, though, these bottles WORK for a LONG time.The bottle itself is GREAT. I like the wide mouth because it's easy to throw in ice cubes, or to fill it with whatever you might like (sorbet!). HydroCell sends you two options for lids: a standard metal, flat lid, and a BPA-free plastic lid with a flip top straw. Both come included; you don't need to buy a second lid (for more money). The metal then is 100% leak proof. In my experience, the flip top lid has been leak proof as well. The fliptop 'could' leak as there is a tiny vent hole (so the straw works despite the seal), and because the flip top is a moving part with attendant gaps. It MIGHT leak, but so far I haven't had the problem in the 2+ years I've used the 20 oz. bottle.I chose these HydroCell bottles over the (admittedly hip and "in") HydroFlask because of the BIG price difference, and the fact that HydroCell gives you the two tops. My son opted for a HydroFlask; he's at the age that brand matters. Although we bought our bottles within days of each other, my HydroCell still looks new (despite multiple drops & bangs). His HydroFlask is dented and the finish is peeling off at the top and bottom. It's possible he's harder on his bottle, but I think that my HydroCell has a better/tougher powder coat finish.The 20 oz. size fits in car cup holders and bike bottle holders. The larger diameter of the 30 oz. size does not. If you add a silicone bottle boot (which I did on both) the 20 oz. is a quite tight fit in the cup holder. The 30 still won't fit ;) .Clean-up is super easy for these: just wash it out with soap and water. Ease of washing is definitely helped by the wide mouth.I recommend these HydroCell bottles to everyone. They're very well made and an excellent deal.

I purchased this bottle to replace a plastic one in 40 oz. As far as how cold it keeps your water, I have fountain water from over 24 hours ago in it that is roughly the same temperature. It is eerie how cold the water still is.It offers a steel twist lid and a flip-up straw lid assembly. The straw lid assembly is robust, with a finger loop molded into it, and insulates just as well as the steel lid. I prefer the steel twist lid just because it is easier to drink more water at once. I don't have to explain how straws work.Why I didn't give this a 5-star rating is because I wanted a 40 oz mandarin orange model and I got a 32 oz teal. My receipt shows a 32 oz black which I would have liked more than teal because teal is nasty but the bottle itself functions perfectly.The technology they use with the double vacuum also does mean no matter how cold whatever you put in the bottle is the outer temperature will not be reflected by that. The bottle will not get cold to touch. So it's a good bottle if they get the order right.

I purchased the 32 oz hydrocell water bottle. I was looking for a water bottle that was comparable to hydroflask without paying for the cost. This water bottle is great because it comes with the 2 different lids the wide lid and the sports straw lid. I prefer the sports straw lid myself, however I didn't have to pay extra for the other lid.I have only used this bottle for cold beverages, I intended really for water only. I live in Arizona and we have had 110 degree days here lately. I will bring my bottle out with a couple of ice cubes and some water and set it by my pool. The sun will be beating down on the bottle and each sip I take is still just as cold.The only cons I have about this bottle. I have noticed that the sport straw lid will leak a bit on top when I open and close it. Not a huge deal, but I wish it didn't do that. I also purchased a bottle for my boyfriend and his straw lid would make whistling noises, so he doesn't use the straw lid anymore.I would recommend this purchase just for the price point alone!
