Amazing product. The mirror tint looks exactly like the Shoei version. Got it in the mail and immediately popped it on to my Helmet. No issues, fast install. Most likely will be ordering the Dark Smoke visor in the future.

I use this for driving to work in the early morning and back home in the afternoon.It's just as clear as my clear visor and I don't notice a difference between the two but doesn't get as dark as my dark smoke visor. It is dark enough for me to drive comfortably in the bright sunlight though. It's dark enough that you can't see my face from the outside.The only issue I've had is the pinlock that the same company sells is a little big to fit between the tabs. I just cut it back a little to fit and it's fine.Using this on a Shoei RF-SR Helmet

Pretty much said everything in the title. Scratches superrrr easily so be careful with it. And the pinwheels don’t fit my shoei fog shield 😒

Bought a new Shoei RF-SR and installed this shield. I tried to install a new pinlock into the visor and it wouldnt fit! How can that be!? I ordered another pinlock and it still wouldnt fit!! Something is clearly wrong with the visor but the visor does fit the new helmet! Totally bogus!

Bought this for a Shoei RF-SR. The photochromic effect works fine and has a good range; in 30-60F weather it was light on grey days and dark on sunny days. Shield fit its mounts with no issues. Everything good until I tried to fit a pinlock insert to this, because it was fogging up a lot in the lower temp range. First it ruined the Shoei pinlock insert that came with my helmet; the pins were slightly too close together and warped the insert so it had a permanent bend in it a few days after installation (seemed fine at first, had a good seal, just bent at the locking tabs while it was off my head and once this happened, was out $40). Figured maybe it was just because I was trying to use a Shoei pinlock with this brand's shield, so I bought one of theirs. Checked the pin orientation for full insertion and that they were rotated the right way, all good. Promptly ate the Helmet Shop pinlock insert as well, and once they have a bend in them they're basically unfixable. Contacted Amazon and got a replacement shield and pinlock insert. This time, made absolutely sure the pinlock was on, sealed, and not bending away from the plastic at the locking tabs, then clamped the ends in place for a few days with rubber-jawed clamps before putting it back on the helmet. So far, so good. Hopefully the problems with the first shield were a fluke.

This and mirror are awesome. Perfect fit that is vheaper and darker than Shoei brand. I was going to try and add tint to the original and these are so much better. Definitely dark and not for night. Fog pinlock does not fit but the holes in the fog insert can be cut to make it fit.

Went on easily. Be aware that this shield is DARK. Tried it in the morning sun, works well. Wish it came with the pinlock insert, those are more than I paid for the shield.
