This is the second time we've purchased this floater for our spa. It is easy to load with 1" chlorine tablets using the simple twist top. It floats around and dispenses the chemical just as it should. It is a nice blue color for at least the first season of use. Ours started to show wear and fading after two seasons and so we replaced it. It was easy to keep clean and did the job.

The media could not be loaded. I run a bunch of short-term rentals and use these in the hot tubs. This particular style was much easier to use because the lid wasn’t such a pain in the ass. But now, unfortunately, somehow it has got water in the top of it rather than inside. So now the entire thing sinks to the bottom. Not super effective.

We have inflatable hot tub that has been running non-stop for 3 years. (we keep the heat lower until the day before we know we want to jump in plus it has an insulated cover to save $). We are still getting more life out of it than we really expected... but after adding another bromine tablet and then screwing the dispenser back on, it just twisted and broke off. This is a cheap fix. Works with 1" tablets and floats upright, (not like my rubber duck dispenser that only floats on its side).

Got this for my new hot tub to fill with bromine tabs. Overall it’s functional and should last for a little while but you can tell it’s a value buy that probably wont last very long. The plastic is think and the parts that do move look like it won’t take much to fall off. For the price, it’s still probably worthwhile id just be prepared to replace.

It floats. It carries 5 chlorine hockey pucks. It has adjustable slits to control the rate of usage. Easy to use. Reasonably priced.

Four stars due to a pin hole in the shell so it sunk. Nothing a little superglue didn’t fix! It fits in my palm which makes it the perfect size for our hot tub. Low enough that it doesn’t get stuck in one place when the cover is on.
