Nice looking but rusts easily
Feeder looks great but we have only had ours about 3 months and the top is already starting to rust.

The squirrel hates it
It’s squirrel proof what more is there to say. So many feeders have been ruined by the Squirrels. They can’t open it and they can’t destroy it. Excellent

Sturdy and well built feeder
The first thing I have to say is that this is a very well built and sturdy birdfeeder. I especially like how tightly you can screw on the lid of the feeder; it’s probably one of the most secure I have ever seen and it will certainly keep prying squirrel fingers from opening it and feasting. It holds 1kg amount of bird food on both sides; one side completely enclosed for seed and the other side mesh, appropriate for sunflower hearts that can be pecked or pulled out or for peanuts. The feeder is long enough that even a larger bird such as a woodpecker could grip it and peck at the nuts or seeds through the mesh. When filled it is a very heavy feeder. The wire hanging cord is very well made, but you will have to choose a strong branch to bear the weight of the feeder, especially if squirrels are going to be swinging from it. There is a small tray affixed to the feeder with quite small drainage holes (but then again most trays never drain well if they get clogged with seed). There are also some odd perches circling either side of the feeder that sit above the lip of the tray. I would have thought the perches should be set below the tray, and although I can push them down I cannot find a way to secure them. The feeder looks great as it’s a burnished copper. It’s not your cheap plastic feeder in any sense. Now there is one problem. With the exception of the tits checking out the sunflower hearts from the mesh side of the feeder, few birds are visiting it. Now it could be those funny perches which seem to be in an odd position or it could be the burnished copper finish. I had a problem with another feeder with this sort of finish and it remained unattractive to the birds, especially in summer when it was reflecting a lot of light. I’m going to work on the perches to see if I can get them set right, but during the last few weeks the birds are preferring my cylindrical feeders. But it often takes time for birds to adapt to new feeders. It is a well built, easy to clean capacious feeder and barring the odd position of the perches (but that may just be me), it is a lovely feeder.

Not squirrel proof and broken after 4 months
Squirrels easily pulled the wire mesh away & the bolt attached to the hanger has rusted and sheered off rendering the feeder useless. Would not buy again.
