Mars Protein Bar by Mars

I thought I was buying a box of bars. Today I got ONE!!!!!!! For $8!!!!!!!! WHAT the everliving $%#&!!!!!!!! No wonder they aren't in stores anymore! What a total waste of money, time, and emotion cause I'm really angry now!!!! These were my all time favorite when I worked and then couldn't find them in stores anymore. Well, if you inflate the cost to this sort of pricing then what do you expect???? I may just varnish the stinking thing and set it out in a conspicuous place to remind myself that what you see is not always what you think you are seeing! And that I'm a total dumb#ss for being this blind!

People think because it says Protein o the side it must be good for you. Unfortunately its more calories and doesn't taste as nice as an ordinary Mars bar. Save your money and eat proper food 80% of the time and have a proper chocolate bar if you want.

I have been big on protein for years now.I am super happy that mainstream is catching on. Honestly, how anyone can knock the taste of these if they had tasted some of the alternatives is beyond me

I'll be honest, I'm not sure about these. To my mind they taste sweeter than the non protein version. But they do help me cure a sweetness craving whilst still hitting macros. My husband doesn't work out or count macros, and he likes them, he thinks they are less sickly sweet than the regular bars. Definitely worth a try and you can make your own mind up.
