I just got this filter and placed it in my 150 gallon. Its got a great turn over rate and is doing a great job filtering out fine particles . I highly recommend this filter.

This filter is exactly as advertised and surprisingly powerful! I tested it in a 5 gallon bucket that I was quarantining some snails in and it was kind of a disaster because the output is VERY powerful. I'm actually using it in a paludarium with 40 gallons of water, there is some other filtration and the tank has a really low bioload so I wasn't worried about this being perfect but it's actually holding up really well! The tank has cycled nicely and this thing is as strong as ever. It can clog relatively easily but it's also easy to clear out debris. The intake doesn't feel strong even though the flow is so strong coming out. If you have creatures that would be sensitive to the output I would definitely recommend putting a sponge or something similar over the output to diffuse the stream a little bit.The directions about the different nozzles were very difficult to interpret. Personally I didn't care about the oxygenation option or the wave (?) feature but it took a lot of googling to understand how the oxygenation feature worked (it is simple and pretty neat), and I still don't understand the wave thing. Doesn't matter to me, but just fyi.It's also a little difficult to take the filter apart because you have to press on multiple tabs and pull fairly forcefully, but it can be done and I haven't had to take it apart often so it's okay with me.Overall, I'm very happy with this filter. Like some other people have mentioned, the fact that the compartments are able to be taken apart means that you can upgrade this filter from the sponges it comes with really easily. I'm planning to add charcoal to the filter soon.

The media could not be loaded.  Had to move fish to change their tank around. I put this in the temporary tank and all they do is play in it. They seem to really enjoy it.

I got this to replace the HOB (hang in back) filter for my edge aquarium, my pros and cons are thisPros:1. Easy to use2. Compact3. Has bio-media for better filtration of bad bacteria.I really like that it’s white, so it’s viewable but not bad on the eyes. This filter gives a good amount of flow, great for fish that like moving water.If you are looking for a good alternative to the old standby filters that come with most tanks, this is the one to try, I’ve been using since January 2021 and I have really liked it.

You can see it on the right top side of my 10 gallon tall aquarium. It's works great the little piece that come with it and adjusts the flow is very helpful as it has a very strong output. With the way the intake is designed I do not have to worry about any guppy fry, platy fry or shrimplets getting sucked up!

Added the filter to a 29 gallon to cycle media for other tanks. I was impressed with the filters performance. It’s not as discrete as some other filters because it is white but I like how it looks. I would recommend it.

2 of my sons tiger barbs dropped dead within 24 hours of this filter but probably not related.....right?anywho the thing shoots pretty high pressure so just be aware when purchasing.

I love this filter! Its quiet. I have it in a small tank with a baby beta. That fish loves the current swings back and forth through it all day.has a great time.
