Dixie Ultra Disposable Paper Plates, 10-1/16 in. Dinner Size, Printed, 176 Count

Despite the fact that I own two really nice sets of dinnerware, I make extensive use of these paper plates. Not only are they strong and practical, they're economical, too.Truth be told, I've used this brand of plates for years and they've never disappointed me, unlike other laminated brands, these are tough, rigid, yet elegant, as if Dirty Harry and Baryshnikov had a child. They're nice enough to serve at a semi-formal outdoor buffet (you know, the after church kind, but not the wedding kind), yet they're also versatile.Let me give you some examples: 1. Everyday meals. I often have my lunch, say tuna salad lettuce wraps and perhaps some green pepper strips, on one. Next, 2. Versatility. If it doesn't leave any stains, etc., I'll wipe off my plate and then reuse it to nuke bacon or as a use it as a cutting board if I'm afraid that the thing I'm cutting might somehow contaminate my good cutting boards, or if they're being conditioned (mineral oil rub down, done periodically) and I don't want my food contaminated. 3. To contain other messes. If I have a used one of these sitting around, I might fold it like a taco after scraping up other messes and then depositing the whole thing into the trash.The point is, I seldom take one of these for just one use; I hate waste and so I try to make the most of these jewels. Oh, and for the record, I never reuse these to serve a meal to a guest--that would be tacky. However, if I've just had a sandwich or whatever that doesn't contaminate the plate, I'll reuse it for myself.The reason I got them on Amazon is because they offered a real bargain price. If you can buy a little bit ahead, get these; they're far better than anything else offered.

Quality disposable plates - very sturdy and generously sized. These plates can be loaded up with food, carried with one hand, and they won't dip or bend at all. Perfect for parties! They're also a decent size - these plates hold a lot of food. They look nice, too.We ordered these for a party, the plates are individually packed in sets - that's so nice because the remaining unopened plates stay clean sealed in packaging and not just left open and exposed in the box. What was left over after our party we ended up using for another smaller get together and then just day to day as needed. It's really nice to have a box of these plates on hand.Definitely recommend.

only thing comparable to these dixie ULTRA 10+ inch plates? the next smaller size, of course! forget the box of hundreds at blankCO etc etc. these plates are ONLY product we've ever found that were sturdy enough from the getgo. from micro to securing bagged food in fridge these hold up really well.Stacking 2 or 3 for temporary maxx support? actually WORKS!HAS TO BE DIXIE ULTRA.

We use paper plates primarily in our RV. These are a great size(not too small yet still fit in microwave.) The lip is high enough that liquids don't spill out and they are very sturdy. We don't have to double-plate to keep food from sloshing or soaking thru. These plates are ideal and the price very good.

These are great strong plates for barbeque and other heavy dishes like lasagna. No leaking and do not fold when used with part of hand under plate and thumb on side for balance.Unfortunately my Mom has decided she likes Cht. platters now, so now have 176 plates to use at my house and not for her parties. After all, she is Mom and over 90 so she makes right choices for her. Me, no plate washing for a while. Still recommend these Dixie ultra paper plates.

It used to be that we used paper plates on occasion....now we use our good plates on occasion! These are great quality. Sturdy, strong, able to cut a steak with a serrated knife, liquids do not leak through and they're pretty!

If you hate washing plates, these are the plates for you. One plate is all you need. I've been on subscribe and save for these plates and in all the time I have been getting them, I NEVER had to double up the plates. When microwaving bacon, I do put a layer of paper towel down first, but if you think about it, that makes a lot of sense.There are a multitude of uses for these from dog food dishes to wet shoe holders. It's always good to have a few hundred on hand.

Awesome, good deal and thick enough that it works good alternative to Royal Chinetremember also you don't have to take so much food at once, you can go back for seconds :-)
