I had recently installed Ring at my home and was very disappointed in its performance till I finally figured out the issue was not with Ring but with my inadequate wifi. I shopped and saw quite a hefty price tag to correct this and then I found the Victony, price tag less than most, and took a chance. It has paid for itself over and over. Starting with set up in 2 minutes. Just plug it in near the wireless rounter then unplug and take it to wherever you need it and plug it in. Not only is Ring working great, but I now can listen to radio in my backyard, a perk I wasn't even expecting.

Just what I needed! I have a dead zone in my home and it happens to be my office. My old extender just wasn't cutting it, so I thought I'd give this one a try. Works great once set up!! Set up was a bit tricky, but read other reviews that helped. Now that i's up and running, works great and getting MUCH better speeds. Highly recommend!!11/1/21 - UPDATEChanged to 1 star as I realized that the extender wasn't doing anything. After changing connection from extender to just router, my speeds TRIPLED! When I went back to extender, the went right back down. Doing much better just using my own router and not this extender. sending back!!

Device works great! Plug and play with easy set up instructions. We have a cut up floor plan with turns and walls. Adding this device keeps the Wi-Fi going strong and enhances the use of other devices. Get one, you’ll be glad you did!

Set up was easy and it works well but It has lost connection with my wifi and needed to be rebooted several times. Also unit was getting very warm in an open air indoor room.

I had difficulty with setup of the WA1200 Extender. I finally connected the device to the Lan port on my desktop. I opened the Chrome browser, and entered 192.168.10.1, and got the login screen. I entered in admin as the user ID, as the password. That took me to the Repeater Wizard, and I was on my way to programming the WA1200. I have a new fiber optic provider, Ziply. The new installation is in my office at one end of the house. The earlier installation took advantage of preinstalled house wiring, and was in a more central location. Before obtaining the WA1200, I had weak and intermittent Wi-Fi signals in the master bedroom at the opposite end of the house. Roku was erratic, as was my IPAD PRO. Now both devices have rock solid signals. I am thrilled with the performance.

I purchased the WiFi Extender for better performance with the outdoor security cameras. I liked the easy setup the most. I didn't have to call anyone to come help me as I do for other technology products. I used the option one instructions with no problem. It appears the security cameras pull up faster, instead of turning like they used to. I will do another review in 2 weeks. ****Update - Product stopped working and I could not get it to the reset mode. I returned the product with no problem. Thinking it may have been a defective product, I was going to reorder another one to give it another try, until I learned the refund was not placed back on my bank card (the original way of purchasing it). It was placed on a gift card. I never use gift cards, and since I am not given a choice in how I want my refunds, I prefer not to deal with this company in the future. It just makes sense to me to use one card (my card) for all my purchases/refunds, instead of having to click to use the balance of a gift card, then switch to another card to pay the remaining balance on an order. I like keeping things simple when I am placing orders.

If you are not tech savvy, I would not purchase this item. The product states that it is just one button to click for set up. This is not the case. I am tech savvy and found that there are more steps than that. This being said, if you are tech savvy in the least, you can figure out the setup. You have to log into the device so you can run the repeater wizard. But, the advertisement is very inaccurate.But once it was set up, I had major issues with the WI-FI signal. Then the connection dropped while I was working and kicked me off the VPN. Also, if it is unplugged you have to re-configure it.Not worth the money. I am returning it.

Got this for our basement where we couldn't ever use any wifi because the signal was so weak- so we got this and installed it in minutes! The wifi worked immediately. I might have gotten a returned one because it seemed to be linked to a different wifi than what the instructions said, but I just reset it and it worked perfectly. Very simple and easy to set up. Will probably get another for my garage.
