I've bought 2 of these things and am pretty sure not one single bug has died or even flown near them. I even took one on a 7 day camping trip where there were many mosquitos buzzing around and biting us, but not a single one was "zapped" or even trapped. If anything, the glowing light only attracted more to our location as if it was a sign to mosquitos: "HEY! OVER HERE! THESE PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS AND DON'T HAVE A REAL MOSQUITO ZAPPER!" The only positive thing I can say about these is they do make for a good rechargeable flashlight/lantern for your RV or tent or wherever.

we had big hopes for this to at least control the mosquitos on our porch in the evening. No luck, we actually left one on all night and never collected one bug or any mosquitos.

This is a Chinese made POC. They make two models one with solar and one without. All their pictures show the model with the solar, but that is not what we got. We received the cheaper model without solar even though the box said solar as well as the instructions. Unless they can make that distinction on their marketing material STOP SELLING IT ! CAPICHE ???

One did not work and the other provided no kill to mosquitos.

I notoriously get eaten alive by mosquitos anytime there are any in the area. We bought a 2-pack after a recommendation from my cousin. These things work! We put one on one side of the porch and one on the other, and it creates a nice mosquito free zone. I am able to enjoy the beautiful fall evenings on our patio without having to spray down with chemicals. I highly recommend.

I bought two, under the assumption that the product reviews were truthful. How awful! I doubt that even 1 bug has been exterminated. In fact, there is no provision to empty a tray, should any bugs be eliminated. I am furious that my money has been so horribly wasted.

Both box and instructions show solar panel on top for charging batteries. It is not present. Other functions seem to work well.

I wish the charge lasted longer, but with the monsoon and mosquitos it did great. I bought two.
