RelianceWATER HEATER CO 9006655005 Natural Gas Control

We got a State Select GS640YBRT natural gas water heater and this valve went bad. Nobody had it locally so i went online for it and found it here. While it's a bit different than the original one, it does the job and the heater is now working fine again.I'm happy with the purchase and it saved me a few bucks from getting at a brick-and-mortar store, not to mention calling in the plumber.

It did the job but was too expensive.

If you don't work well with natural gas, leave this to the pros. As a do it yourself item, get yourself a 12 inch piece of 1/2 gas pipe to use as a lever.
