MasscaPocket-Hole Screw Kit – 500 Self-Tapping Zinc Plated Screw Set.

This box of screws arrived sealed in a box. Not sure it was supplied this way for shipping but I am guessing not. The hinges of the plastic box were both broken as well as the bottom of the plastic box as if the box were dropped. Screws were all mixed together as if they were spilled out and just dumped into the divider box and all mixed up. None of the broken parts from the hinges were inside the sealed cardboard box and there was no way anything could have fallen out of the box. All of this leads me to believe it had been dropped before being sealed in the cardboard box. I did not count all the screws and no way am I going to, but there were three missing of the 2 1/2" screws and it does not appear there are 500 screws in the box. Just another lesson learned.

Received these in a UPS box and the cheap plastic case was shattered. half the screws were missing.I contacted the seller and they were very helpful and sent out a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement arrived in about the same condition so I have 2 shattered cases that went to the trash, and ultimately a big pile of unsorted pocket screws.Nice screws. But, I'll probably order from a different brand in the future just so I don't have to sort my own screws when they arrive.

First off, note that you need a square driver for these bits - not included. It's pretty standard though in just about any drill bit set, but not typical for your average DIYer that is used to only Phillips or Flat head.That said, the screws work nice and haven't had any issues. My only issues that come to mind are:1. I don't like is that it's hard to tell what screw belongs to which size since there are no labels for the compartments2. The latches are really cheap plastic. So hard to open and keeps feeling like there are going to snap off on me.

I needed a few different sizes of these 'special pocket' screws and the cost in the big box lumber stores is VERY costly! Since I do some form of wood-working just about every day I like having a fair amount of different size screws handy at all times. ALSO the price was Very reasonable!

Case broke too easy though. I moved them into separate storage bins for easier labeling and use. And I wish there were more of the 2 - 2 1/2 “ screws. Great starter kit though.
