They work great - once I figured out I had...
They work great - once I figured out I had the wrong size pin in for my type of ear tags! :) I was using the bigger pin and the gun would stick closed and was hard to reopen. Found out, I needed to use the smaller pin. They work great now!

Works very well. I would purchase again but it's so well made I'll never need to.

not so universal.
Not too universal. Wouldn't take small round tags. I had to grind down one of the tips to make it fit in the hole of the small round tags. Made it work with much difficulty. Pain to goats. Now ordered specific tagger for those tags.Also had a difficult time getting tagger off the goat once tag was in. Had to pry it off carefully with broad bladed knife for leverage.
