My hat came with a seam that wasn't sewn shut (see pic 1), and before deciding about returning it, I tried it on to see if it fit - I took measurements (see pic 2) that I hope will be useful. As soon as I pulled it off, my hair stood on end. The other cotton hats I have do not do that, so I think it's actually made from polyester. There is a sticker on the plastic bag that it came in that says 100% cotton, but there are no tags sewn inside indicating anything. I decided to return it. If the seam were sewn shut, it seems like a nice enough hat for the money, so if you don't care about the fabric content, go for it. If you want to be sure it's cotton, I'd look elsewhere.

I have several Beanie caps from other companies. I liked this one because it was lightweight for summer. This was ideal since I live in a hot climate year round. Happy with the color and feel of it. The only thing I would have liked is for them not to be so long in length however I just made a cuff to shorter it so it doesn’t hang down so much in the back.

Love this hat! It’s very light weight, fits just right, and it’s warm! Great for warm and cold weather. It is BIG! The opening wraps around my head and my hair just fine, and I have quite a bit of thick hair. But the length of the hat is much bigger than expected. Not a huge deal, it provides room for when my hair grows out more.

I live on the Northeast where temps dip to below 50 in October and hit the teens by December. This hat advertises its benefits and says it’s got moderate thickness to block summer rays and “is also good wear for fall and winter because it can block wind and cold.”This Beanie will not do that. This is not technical performance fabric. The wind will definitely go right through it. (See pic of knit up against the light. Brace yourself for that windchill!)I would best describe this as a thin waffle knit. And since I was looking for a casual hat with enough slouch that it would fit over my very long hair ….this does the trick. It also doesn’t slide off like some cotton beanies do so I am very happy with it. I would buy more but for looks…not for warmth. If you’re an L.A. based Melrose Ave skater kid, this might be your hat too.

Made of super soft lightweight cotton. I gifted one that he wears all the time. Cotton ensures breathability. Love these.

Got this as a Christmas present and absolutely love it. It is extremely comfy. Fits perfect and doesn't slide around. Light weight so it's great for cool to warm weather.

My favorite chemo hat. It feels comfy and soft. Good size and warm for winter weather because it's double fabric. I love it. I've washed it once so far on cold and air dried it. So no shrinking.

I bought 2 of these at the same time. The greyish striped one has a black lining, and isn't as stretchy. The pink one is incredibly stretchy. Both fit well, though, and are definitely long enough for the slouchy look. I have dreadlocks, and they stretch plenty big enough for them....but the pink one is a lot more comfortable and way more lightweight feeling. I'd buy again, they're nice beanies for warmer weather...but if you have fatter dreadlocks, you might want to go for the solid ones as opposed to the ribbed/striped ones.
