I have taken note that many folks are under the impression that this product is a cleaner. This product is NOT a cleaner, but is a polish, as stated on the label. Polish is always used after a cleaner is used. This will give your just cleaned items that brilliant polished appearance. When used as a polish this product appears to be superior to other polishes.

This product is very good for its intended purpose. It’s not meant for cleaning like the paste is. This is meant to go after the paste for a better shine and provides a protective barrier that lessens handprints and new water spots from appearing. It’s great for that but don’t expect it to clean off rust or heavy marks.

Having purchased the Flitz Liquid Polish for Stainless Steel in the past I thought I would try this easier to use spray version. Unfortunately the results were as bad as the typical stainless steel cleaner you can purchase at any retailer. The liquid polish could remove the water streaks on my stainless refrigerator and dishwasher but this spray had no effect at all. I am sure it was good for taking off surface dirt but not for getting out the water stains. And at this price it is totally not worth it.
