NO WHERE NEAR DESCRIPTION
Does this look like 1/3 inch thick? Totally disappointed. Not even same as picture.

Much thinner than advertised.
Is only about 3/16” thick, about half the advertised 1/3”. Not soft at all. I returned it.

Too thin and doesn't grip
This is a disappointing product. I know it can be returned, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle of trying to pack it up. It is very very thin. It's grip is minimal.

Even better than expected!
Super happy with this purchase. Great value for money. Can’t beat the price. I bought the 4’10”x7’10” and it fits under my 5x8 rug perfectly. It doesn’t poke out or fall short anywhere. I’m using it under one of those washable rugs, and it adds the perfect amount of plushness the rug needs! I was a little skeptical based off some reviews saying it was way thinner than advertised, but I find that it’s pretty darn close to the 1/4”. The non-slip backing works— no sliding around. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Works for me.
I needed pads to go under rugs that were under a desk and under a dining table, so more for keeping the rugs stable rather than cushioned. These are working just fine, neither desk or table move around. If I wanted more softness I’d have chosen a thicker pad. These did come folded as opposed to rolled, so it took a couple of days for the creases to disappear, but all is good now. I’d buy again.

Well made - Well packaged
This rug pad is what we needed. It is not easy to find a felt-non-slip in this length. Actually we needed 15' but we purchased two and added the additional two feet with rug tape. I always would like the pads to be a little more non-skid but with a 15' foot wool oriental runner on top it does stay in place pretty well. It was easy to cut and the remainder of the pad will be for a couple more area rugs.

Rugs just slide around on top of pad.
The pad is thick enough, and does grip to the floor.However the rug placed on the pad still moves all over.Basically this pad is not gripping the rug laid on top of it at all.Would Not buy again.

Decent carpet pad, far better than the thin rubber-only alternatives.
Easy to trim to size with scissors. Felt on one side and rubber grip dots on the other, so it works well on either hard floors or carpets. "Softness" is an odd characteristic, as I want it firm with some give.
