Impressed for the price
PROS:LightweightMain pot has a good volumeSecondary pot perfect for sauces or beveragesEasy to clean provided you don't abuse itCONS:slightly noisy when carrying around in a backpack if transported as-is in bag includedI purchased this mess kit as a replacement for my old backpacking/camping pot, a nice 750 ml titanium pot. I love my higher end titanium pot on my gas pocket stove but unfortunately it's too small for actual cooking outside of heating up canned goods, due to its small volume and narrow diameter. 1000 ml seemed perfect for me (especially if I have to boil water as it fills my 1L nalgene water bottle completely). The price seemed low, and I was immediately reminded of the cheapo Stanley mess kits I grew up with in the boy scouts, those flimsy, shiny ones that scorch constantly and love getting bits of cooking pasta stuck to them until they're a permanent fixture. I was pleasantly surprised when this mess kit arrived. The material has a dull, semi-gloss coat and nice, insulated handles. Both of the included pots have been used multiple times since they arrived; as a bachelor I even use them in the kitchen regularly for cooking meals for one. The included bowls and folding spork are a nice thought, but honestly I just use them as dog food scoops and eat directly from the pot like the savage I am. The rounded bottom of the pots is actually a step up from my titanium pot, making them easy to clean. Honestly astonished at the quality of the components for the price, and I'll definitely get tons of use out of this. My one gripe is that in the bag that comes with it, the pot and pan tend to rattle a bit together, which, when backpacking does get annoying, but this can be alleviated by tying them securely together with a bit of 550/paracord.

A versatile camping set.
I use this recently on a 3 day backpacking trip over 20 miles with 6 different people. We were able to use the larger pot to heat up water for pasta and oatmeal with ease. It is also large enough that inside of the container I was able to store the fuel and stove as well as another cup, which really made it a nice compact mess kit. It seems like it is very durable in the handles were more than adequate to avoid getting burned while picking up the pots. The stuff sack pulled everything very nicely. The only drawback on the stuff sack is that it is black, so it is easy to lose in your bag...

Holding up pretty well!
I'll admit, I was skeptical. I've used these to boil water about a dozen times, and I really like them. I'm surprised. They cool down VERY quickly when the water is removed, and I haven't tried cooking in these pots, but overall, I'm glad I purchased. The handles are the "worst part," but I didn't expect excellence from such an affordable, entry-level option.

light weight and fits gas stove inside
I bought a cheap backpacking stove and a jet boil gas canister, I can fit both into this mess kit, the only thing I don't like about this is food sticks very easily to this kit.

Cheap and good quality!
We bought this for a first-time camping trip and it worked really well! It came with sponge and also two white cups for eating. Sponge and cups are not really useful so we didn't bring it. The pots worked well. Highly recommend.

8 piece mess set
Looks good but ordered 1000 ml and received the 800. I think it will suffice but paid for the 1000.

Bang for the buck, lightweight
I bought two of these, 1 for me and 1 for my girlfriend but on a four nights camping trip in the mountains of Taiwan we only brought one set and it was good enough for us. This is a lightweight and durable product, I have used the same set on many different camping trips. Just be careful when using it on a fire as you can melt the plastic in the handles.
