The chain is 45cm long - but there's a 5cm extender attached.Though I'm no expert I have bought one or two pieces of high end gold plated jewellery in the past and to me this necklace's plating looks very good. You're getting the rich, buttery 18K gold tone and the item description suggests it's a 3 layered electroplating process.This design, though quite simple, is very current and I'm sure would be appreciated by fashionistas of all ages. The clasp is of the lobster claw type and very secure. The necklace is nickel free - important to me as I have a nickel allergy and good to see this included in the description - but it's lead free and hypoallergenic too.The length makes this necklace very versatile as it could be worn with a shirt/blouse or dress and really set off the decolletage. That design is so attractive with 2 different styles of chain converging to meet at the top of a decorative padlock, a good size at 22x22x6mm. At the end of the extender part of the chain is a cute little key around a centimetre in length. There's lots of attention to detail and the necklace looks really good.If you are gifting, this ticks all the boxes. It's beautifullyypackagede ina turquoise lidded box complete with bow. All in all, this is a perfect package for gifting - or just great as a gift for yourself.

It fits perfectly, not to short.The chain are quite wide.Good quality for the price. I remove when i go to shower to prevent from changing colors.Bold gold jewellery are a current fashion statement but they were pricey. Great that you can find a similar on Amazon, more cheaper.The necklace comes with beautiful Box. It can be a perfect gift.Overall: nice design, good quality, looks more different than another ones!
