Its not very often you need to clean the connectors of fibre. Normally they are assembled on install and never get disconnected. But very occasionally there will be a need to clean. These pens always work perfectly.The most common thing we have is engineers unplugging and replacing patch lead for what ever reason and not putting the dust covers on the unused patch lead end. So we had a pile of loose dust covers and a pile of loose patch leads. Just lazy practise. They then become dirty and end up being throne away.Using type of cleaning pens over the years have saved lot of patch leads just being through away. The golden rule with fibre for perfect signals is to be clean.

I grabbed these to help with fiber cleaning at work and they simply work as good as as the much more expensive alternatives.Nothing about these cleaners is any different from the more expensive ones so save yourself some money and buy these
