Exceptionally Durable
Let's be honest, for the average player, the golf ball is probably the thing that matters the least, way behind address, swing path, contact, ball position, stance, lie, etc. For me, I don't lose golf balls often, but I do drive them into trees, cart paths, sidewalks, rocks, and other hard surfaces. So, I was looking for a golf ball that would - yes - perform very well off the tee, rough, fairway and greens, but mostly I was looking for an exceptionally durable golf ball. And these are it! I can slice a driver straight into a tree, then onto a cart path, then a rock face again and again, round after round, and these balls look and perform as good as new. Huge for me. I can play the same ball for many, many rounds before I lose it. Not a scuff. Not a scratch. In comparison, my Callaways, Taylor Mades, and even Titleists are scratched and dinged even after hitting one hard surface. These last and last. Very great ball for the money. Highly recommend.

Great price
I bought these for my son the golfer. He doesn’t mind losing them at the discounted price. 😆

As good as a pro v1
You've read it a few times. Go ahead and by them. Unless you are a 2 handicap who can do whatever you want with the ball... this ball is as good as you can get. And I'm pretty sure a scratch golfer would say they could do just about anything with it too. Responsive, good feel, not too soft or hard, good click with putting and chipping, stops, checks (with good wedge form)... and everyone I know who has tried it says.... yep. Just as good as a V1.Pro tip, the Kirkland v2s are very close to this too. But sugars hold up better.UPDATE: do not buy the new version of sugar. The pure version is sticky feeling on the cover and a lot less comfortable. V1 is the way to go.

fly well
The feel is good. You can also fly distance. Use when you want a long flight distance, such as over a pond. The price is so high that you can't buy it in Japan.

Better than most
Great quality for the price. Seem to scuff/cut a bit easier than super premium balls, but at this price point, still great buy. Good off the tee, plenty of spin on short shots, chips. Just a really solid golf ball at a great price

Very underrated golf ball
Forget what MyGolfSpy has to say about these balls; more people should be playing them—not less.I’ve been playing the Sugar ball for over 6 months now, and compared to the ProV1 (which I played on and off again for years) my launch conditions are the same; my spin rates are the same; my carry numbers are the same; I can do whatever I want with these balls around the greens; etc. The only differences are (1) I know these balls are mine when I find them in the rough because I’m the only one at my club who plays them, and (2) I have twice as many of them for the same price as ProV1s.I love how they feel (firmish, but neither clicky nor hard); the color is just right; they roll and fly true; and, for what it’s worth, the “Sugar” script actually looks pretty nice too. Great ball.Edit (4/16/24): Dropped my rating from 4 to 3 stars. After playing these for about a year and a half now, I’ve decided to move on. That’s not to say the G1 aren’t a good value ball, but as my ball-striking has improved I want to have more confidence in the ball I’m playing. I’ve had a few fly funny recently (unscuffed, but after they started drawing a little they abruptly shot left or right really quick), and I’ve got enough to worry about with my golf game already. Distrusting the ball cannot be one of them. They also have not proven to be as durable as I’d like. Maybe there’s been a change to the cover since I started playing them, but in any event they discolor quickly and they scuff rather easily too. So even if I manage to make it through a round with the same ball, I’m retiring it to the shag bag anyway.

Great golfball
What a great golf ball for the price! Best part is when you find your ball you know it’s yours because there aren’t many Sugars on the course. My guess is that will change sometime here soon!

Really like this golf balls - don’t go getting overly pricey on me now.
Great balls for the price. Not a pro v guy but any bit as good as the Srixon or Callaway I okaye at about 10$ less per dozen

Love these golf balls!
I purchase a cube of balls on amazon lastweek and was blown away by theyre performance! They feel like a proV1 in all ways for half the price. They are actually more durable then the proV1 and feel awesome striking them. The only thing i would like to see, is to produce them in yellow for us older folk.

Crystal golf balls
I used them for indoor golf on my Skytrak system. The Crystal golf balls illuminated well on the mat I used before hitting them into a screen.
