Had this brand before without any problem. Didn’t start using for first few weeks. Disappointingly, this pair lasted just a couple of weeks of relatively gentle walking on road and green lane. Weather hasn’t been great but these boots have split already and whilst they may not let in water on every occasion they are effectively useless in wet weather. Supplier wasn’t interested.

I love these boots! I did quite a bit of research to decide which boots to get and ended up going for these ones and I'm very happy with them.I have slightly wider feet so I wanted to make sure I get comfy boots. I do have another pair of Salomon light short hiking shoes so I was hoping the Quest boots would fit me well. I ordered the same size and they are perfect for me. In thin socks they feel a little bit on the larger size (in the front/box of my feet) but if I do the laces up properly, they fit well. They are super comfy, sturdy and water proof (I have tested them a few times). I also wanted boots that were quite high at the ankle and so I had to decide between Quest Prime and Quest 4D. Initially I thought that Quest Prime would be a little bit too low for what I wanted but when I put them on, the height is great, covering my ankle high enough. I also preferred that Prime didn't have the plastic clips for laces all the way down, apparently they aren't as strong as the regular material hoops. As for the second clip from the top, the one that secures your heel in the boot, it works really well as it has little "teeth" that keep the lace in place.I'm very happy with them. And they look great too!

Salomons are, quite simply, fantastic boots. Completely waterproof right up to the neck, hard-wearing, light and comfortable. I particularly like the way that the laces clip in so that they don't go loose whilst tieing them or if they come undone.I always but Salomons half a size bigger than my usual 9, and with thick mountain socks they fit perfectly. I bought these as 5.5UK for my sister who wears a 5, and they fitted perfectly.

The beauty of Salomon boots is that if the fit suits you, then you can confidently order them online without ever having to go to a shop and try them on. Having quite wide feet and narrow heels, these boots fit me brilliantly and I have been wearing them in comfort since 2012 for all my dog walking and Peak District adventures.

Really comfortable boots from the off. Have only used a few times so far but can't fault them. I'm used to mid rise boots and so can now feel the boot at the ankle, however it does not feel uncomfortable or rub. Feet stayed dry on wet ground but have not been out in really adverse conditions yet. The boots not only do the job but look good as well. I couldn't be more pleased and would recommend. The boots arrived well packaged and before the due date. I would buy from this seller again.
