An all-inclusive guide to TikTok - not just for Gen Z!
Author Anastasia Olson knows a lot about TikTok. In her "TikTok Marketing for Viral Sales: A Young Girl's Guide to Blowing Customers' Minds," she presents the benefits of TikTok as a marketing tool in a concise, colloquial fashion. While the title suggests this book is written by a young entrepreneur for young entrepreneurs, I feel the author does herself a little bit of a disservice because this book would be a great tool for anyone, especially non-Gen Z's looking to understand and get into the TikTok marketing space. However, her anecdotes about being a young business owner are certainly inspiring and would definitely be a great motivator for young women looking for young role models.With step-by-step guides to using the platform, this is a great tool for teaching first-time users to grow their online presence. It even came with pictures, which you don't always see in guides like these. There are also some great tips that can be used across multiple social media platforms to better stand out. I won't share them here - you have to buy the book to find out!

Tons of information on tikTok how-to
I really thought this book was filled with solids basic information for using TikTok for business, and it described well what sort of businesses it's best for. It has easy to follow pictures to help with the in-app instructions as well. The reason I took off a star is because a) not sure we should be pushing young girls to be making a ton of videos of themselves for businesses since most teenage girls don't own businesses...and b) I think taking the subtitle off would really be more appropriate since the information is good for all creative and visually based businesses.

Extremely Helpful and Inspiring
Tiktok has always been an app I've been afraid to use. At first it was because I didn't think I was the right age group, and then it was because I couldn't see how it could possibly help me with the books that I've written or the business I've started. I honestly thought it was a fad that would come and go quickly, something I didn't want to be a part of. This book really opened my eyes to the possibilities of social media, if only I would be brave enough to try (and I haven't been lately).There were so many facts and figures in this guidebook that helped me to understand what I could do with Tiktok, but it was also mixed with inspirational messages, pep talks, and true success stories that made me want to put down the book and do something :)If you want to be inspired for your business and want to learn how to utilize social media to the best of your ability, try this book - it's one you are able to come back to.

TikTok - where literally anyone can find followers
I'm constantly looking for news way to market my products for sale and TikTok kept showing up on my radar as something to look into, but I never got around to it.Last week of my co-workers shows me a video from TikTok of a guy who literally cuts a slice of bread, slides the main loaf away from the newly cut slice, waits for the slice to fall over, and simply ads music to the background...thousands of followers. Thousands.Which is why I grabbed this book. If bread slice guy can do it. I can do it. This book was like a crash course to getting started quickly to start posting videos that are effective. I really like how the information was well organized and digestible. The author's writer style was very conversational. It was like speaking to someone in a coffee shop. It was a pleasant read and I would recommend.
