Nice chair, it feels supportive and really was not hard to put together. Would have been nice to have some sort of instructions that said how to put on the shelf but really after a few min. of looking it is not hard to figure out. Would love the same kind of supportive chair for around the same price with wheels. GOOD FOR US PLUS SIZE PEOPLE! ( 350- 700lb ) If you are 350 + you know how hard it is to find a good chair but this one seems like it will last a long time. Am using with desk but would even be nice for dinner table. Would like to buy more when I can afford to. The one I got said purple with gold treads but I don't see any gold but I am happy about that. Would also be a good chair if you have plus size family members who may visit you or for a Doctors waiting room or for at a piano- has a Small fabric pocket on the back that could hold about 10- 15 sheets of music or a 1-3 magazines... Am using it for my monthly calendar.The chair back is fine and has a little back lean to it maybe an inch or two if you think about sitting with your back straight up and down. The back cushion is about 2-3" thick, of thick foam on top of chip board *(there are not guide holes on the back for putting in the screws however because its chip board it is not that hard to screw in the screws, just push while you turn. You may want to mark where the screws will go with some chalk.) and the seat cushion is about 4-5" thick of firm foam- not sure whats under it. Shipping was great I got it much faster than I thought it would be... Always a good thing.

This is a great chair for short and heavy people. It is comfortable for long periods of sitting and there is no annoying bottom or side metal parts. I was skeptical about the quality of the chair after reading some reviews but everything was good. There was no smell, the screws came with the chair, and NO you do not need a drill to assemble the back part of this chair. The back of the chair was the only part i needed to screw on. All you have to do is line up the back part accordingly, as stated in the included instructions, and press hard while screwing in the screws. They'll eventually screw in (and that was it). I highly recommend you guys purchase straight from Amazon as the seller because they are pretty much hassle free in case something goes wrong. A lot of the low feedback was probably on chairs bought from third party sellers who sold questionable inventory so always look for the seller rating (i'd only buy from 99%, 100%, and Amazon) seller rating. Also make sure they have at least 10K ratings. The chair itself is great.

I really like the color and how sturdy this chair is. I was afraid to order it at first because others have said that the cushion was too firm, but after comparing it to other chairs in this price range, it came out far ahead of the competition. So I took a chance, thinking that I could get a cheap seat cushion if it was too firm. Luckily, I won't need to get an extra cushion because it is perfectly comfortable. I like a bit of firmness because of a back issue and sciatica, and although I haven't sat in it for a really long period yet, it hasn't caused any problems with these conditions.I got this as a music chair, as I got a banjo for Christmas and will be sitting on this frequently and for long periods of time. I think it will work out perfectly. It sits well in front of a music stand, and the shelf under the seat is perfect for my music books and iPad when they're not on the stand.The reason I'm taking a star away from my review is because of the fabric material that covers the cushions. It is very flimsy and I can see it ripping pretty easily if I'm not careful. And it collects pet hair like no other fabric that I've seen, which gets trapped in the fabric and is impossible to fully remove.No assembly instructions are included, but it's just 8 wood screws to attach the back, and predrilled holes in the frame for the shelf go together in only one way, so it's pretty simple to put together. I guess I got all of the other reviewers' missing screws, because mine came with 2 small bags of them, each containing 14 screws.I couldn't have asked for a better chair for around $40.

Yes the chair does require some assembly, and no it doesn't require a drill - as long as you have some upper body strength and a Phillips screw driver. The 'drilling' involved, that other reviewers mentioned, consists of pushing by hand the enclosed, Wood Screws through the back of the predrilled metal backrest frame holes, and then screwing it into the cushioned wooden backrest. I worded it this way intentionally because the poor description from other reviewers makes it sound like you have to drill through metal just to set the backrest in place, you don't.I personally enjoyed it coming disassembled in this fashion, as I was able to more properly adjust the height to fit me comfortably. In addition, I was able to take the screws out of the seat, and adjust it further away from the backrest giving me better blood circulation in my legs.Thoroughly enjoy the sturdiness, and extra width of this chair as an alternative to a traditional computer chair. I'm actually now surrendering the mediocre comfort of my recliner to visitors in favor of this chair on movie nights.

Love the chair. Its strong and a pretty color. Giving it 3 stars because it came with 2 chair backs and no screws. I got my own screws and got it together just fine but it should have come with them.

This may be a "church chair," but I bought two of the plum-color ones for my small, studio apartment. I love that I can stack them, use them separately (possibly with a small dining table between them ), or put them side-by-side to make a love seat. I chose not to put the wire racks under them and placed them side-by-side to form a love seat with a furry throw that masks the fact that they are actually two chairs. They are wide, well-padded seats, perfect for a small space. They are much more comfortable than a parson's chair, and they are high enough underneath to store books, boxes, etc. Can also be used as a desk or office chair. Much cheaper than a side or office chair. I love them, and I would buy again.

I really don’t understand why this came un assembled as the box it came in was as big as if it were. Then there was no assembly instructions although it’s not rocket science. However they did not include any tools for assembly and there were no predrilled holes to attach the seat back to the frame.
