Sewing Pins Pack of 500 with 3mm Multicolor Glass Heads, 1.5 inch Straight Pins with Sharp Pointed Tip for Sewing, Dressmaking, Quilting & DIY Projects

I'm a henna artist and when I roll my cones I will put a pin in the end to keep a uniform opening in all my cones. I bought these about a month ago and have no complaints. I've even thought how I would reorder these instead of using the pack I already had. Considering they're just pins I think that's a pretty good endorsement if I noticed that I actually like them. The colors are vibrant and they are smooth and sturdy. The pins I had been using were originally my sewing pins and I would notice my old pins were kind of rough and felt like they micro-scraped the fabric when I pinned stuff. I don't think these would do that since they're really smooth.

They're nothing special, but that'd be surprising for pins regardless. They're a piece of metal that holds cloth together. Strong enough to do a good job, thin enough that a sewing machine doesn't mind them being in the way and the needle scoots to the side. The case leaves them to be a bit of a finger hazard when trying to grab them, but a pincushion fixes that instantly.

These are pins, so I can’t complain about their functionality. The only thing that irked me is once I had opened them and closed the container to put back into the craft box I take back and forth to my crafting group, it came open and when I reached in the box to get something, I got stuck. The pins are all over the bottom of the box now.

My wife is looking for a couple of straight pins. Of course you can't just buy 2, so I ended up buying the whole assortment. We'll never have trouble by finding one again. The box is nice to have on hand in case we need something else.

I love these colourful pins. They are easy to pick up, sharp and perfect length. Definitely worth the money.

I would say about 1 and 3 of these pins is either rough (you can feel it with a fingernail or as you slide it into fabric) or a little bit misshapened so you get what you pay for in that you still get some good pins so maybe out of the 500 you're going to get 2/3 that work (which is still a lot of pins). But you also have to sort through the pins and get rid of the ones that are noticeably rough (I use an old pill bottle for getting rid of sharp things). It seems to be all of the black ones and some of the others as well. Also the pinheads are not all super consistent but whatever.

good sturdy pins, wish they were a little thinner for more delicate fabrics, but definitely an important purchase to keep long seams in place
