Worth the extra $$
First I bought a dinky $11 grommet kit, and it ended up ruining my sewing project. But this saved it, and I get clean grommets every time. I need to use both hands to close it tightly but totally do able and worth it. (My irl strength scores is like 8)

Such a handy little tool.
I am a realtor and I use a lot of corregated plastic signs, from 'open houses' to 'for sale' and lots of other uses. This grommet tool makes easy work of adding grommets to signs. We also used it to grommet table cloths to keep them from blowing around in the wind. And my husband's hand towels for his golf bag. So many uses we never tought of but now when we need to strap something down we are quick to reach for this tool. At Halloween we used it to reinforce the corners of a bean bag toss game. It is very handy and easy enought for me to use on all sorts of materials.

Works good to add some Grommets to Redwing Chukka's
Bought these since I have some Redwing Weekender Chukka's the first generation that doesn't have any internal eyelets. Felt like the leather holes were stretching out and couldn't get the shoes that tight so decided to purchase this tool and add some grommets and I gotta say it only took about 10 minutes and they look and work great. The grommet goes in very solid and looks professional. I had a quote to add them to this same shoe from a local cobbler and it was $100 so clearly this is a good value.Only gripe would be the tool finish was damaged right out of the box.

I used a 1/4" hole punch rather than the punch that came with this tool kit.
Easy to use, make sure you punch your hole first. I didn't have to squeeze hard and it came out perfectly. I didn't use the punch set that came with this. I used my 1/4" hole punch instead. I used this on fabric.

Needed to add grommet hoes to boat tarp. This is just the ticket...

Inconsistent
It doesn't always get a complete seal around the grommets.

Good guality
The media could not be loaded. The tool and grommets were of good quality and easy to use. I used the grommets to attach 3 patio sails together.

Nice tool, but I’m not impressed with the grommets, they are cheap light weight metal.
