comfortable
It's hot and humid in Taiwan for most of the year, wearing sandal is more comfortable than sealed shoes. I choose Teva for its quality and appearance.

These are the best sandal have ever owned!
These are the best sandal have ever owned! These things fit great they look awesome and they are super comfortable! All my life my mom and dad both have always owned a pair of Teva sandals. They would ware them all the time outside no matter if they were walking, doing yard work, at the beach, or spending the day shopping. I always wrote them off as ugly and old people shoes.About a year into college I started to notice a whole lot of people wearing this style of sandal and since I had always heard good things from my parents I decided I would get some myself. I got a great deal on mine as I believe the design I picked (and liked the most) was the year old one. This mattered little to me.As soon as I got my new sandals I strapped them on. I didn’t get this right the first time and that led to a blister on the inside of my ankle. After a quick Google search and a re-strap I had the sandals on and fitting just right for me.Since then these have been my go to foot ware on almost every day the sun is out and it’s warm. I have worn these now countless days and miles doing an extremely wide verity of activities. With these strapped securely to my feet I have, spent the day at the mall, hiked trails in the woods, walked around the tailgate, gone biking, done sprints, walked the beach, walked through streams, walked in the ocean, walked an uninhabited island, gone to the store, laid in a hammock, climbed rocks, shot some basketball, worked in the yard, got in the lake, drove for a long distance, worked at work, and so much more. They really are the perfect footwear no matter what you’re doing. And after all of this and more they are still holding up beautifully!

Great, but sadly, not the best quality
These sandals fit great, are comfortable, and didn't even need to be broken in. I climbed Guadalupe Peak, the highest peak in Texas, while wearing these and did not get any blisters. The reason I am giving only 3 stars is because of the quality of the straps. The end of the strap is not fully attached to the velcro, there is about a one-inch part that is not connected. When I tried to tighten them while on my hike, on one sandal, the velcro ripped off the strap because of this. This was a huge disappointment because I really like everything else about these sandals, and I only used them for about a week before this issue. I am going to contact the manufacturer and will update my review based on the customer service experience.

Teva Terra Fi Lite
These are my third pair of Tevas. I wear them to play in the lake, to take short hikes, and around town. The Lite seem less Lite my old traditional Tevas but are still comfortable. I bought 12 instead of 11.5 because someone said the Lites tend to run small; unfortunately, the sandals are a bit long. With some adjustment of the back strap, they fit fine.

The plastic on the sides where the clasps are cut ...
The plastic on the sides where the clasps are cut my feet. :( The plastic is too exposed and the material on the sides are too rough.

Very practical
I live in Miami Beach. I was thinking of buying more expensive and classy leather sandals, but I realized that what I need most as a pair of sandals that can face the humidity, dust (construction sites near my home), humidity and salty ocean air, sand at the beach and frequent unexpected torrential rains. My initial choice of high quality leather sandals would be severely damaged if I used them on a daily basis. These Teva's are made for harsh conditions. This model (terra fi lite) is not only very durable, but also comfortable (no scratching edges, and pretty soft sole) and offers a great fit customization (three adjustable straps). The finish is a bit rough on the outside but very sturdy (nothing more nothing less then what is needed for off-road and off-shore sports and trailing sandal). The model is perfect. The sole is very grippy, comfortable enough, not heavy but not very light either (as some might think from its name). Great practical sandal that feels good to wear.

Critical desgin flaw
For some reason Teva messed with the heel strap. They cut the webbing and bridged it with thicker padding than previous sandals. These modifications have created a protrusion that rubs on the medial side of the heel. I barely made it through a two mile walk without getting a blister. It was good and uncomfortable by the time I made it home. I'm planning on sewing the straps from my old sandals onto the new soles.Note that these sandals are cut large. Teva is not consistent with sizing so try them on before you buy.

Straps are a little short but decent
Very light and comfortable, the heel shockpad really is soft and comfy. My left foot is bigger in 1 cm and it is wider but the sizing is great and the fit is snug.

Exactly what I needed
I was looking for a versatile, yet sturdy, candle for the summer, and these Tera's do not disappoint. The soles are rugged with plenty of grip comparable to my Columbia hiking boots. The midsole also contains a good amount of cushioning to absorb any heavier steps. The straps are secure and easily adjustable to suit and foot height/width and ankle size. Even when loosened slightly, they still felt like the held my foot securely. The padding on the inside of the straps is also a nice touch to ensure minimal rubbing or blistering.
