All of my lamps start off as a 1/2 gallon authentic Ball mason jar. Lamp is silver and shade is striped silver and black. Lamp stands approximately 17" tall with shade. Lamp has been painted, distressed and sealed for added protection. To clean use a soft clean cloth. When you receive your lamp insert a 40 watt bulb and it will be ready for use.
