All lamps start off as a 1/2 gallon authentic Ball mason jar. This lamp is a barn red color. The shade is black and white. They compliment each other well. The lamp with shade stands approximately 17" tall. It has been painted, distressed and sealed for added protection. To clean take a dry soft cloth and wipe. I recommend a 40 watt bulb for this lamp. When you receive your lamp it will be ready to use.
