The Naturalizer Carlyn ankle boots will not be my new versatile fall/winter booties because they are NOT ankle boots. They’re loafers!I liked the pointy toes to pair with jeans or dressier pants. A good value for quality of leather and workmanship.I didn’t like the heel height, especially with a dress because the vamp is too high for my petite legs. I might have kept except that I couldn’t get my foot into size 7.5 and size 8 was nearly an inch too long.Was this review helpful?

The product is perfect, it is the sizing, I normally wear a 7 1/2 shoe size and that is what I ordered, it was to big when I walked the shoe slips right off. I had to order a size 7.My complaint is the returning process, the website refused to give me the correct size I wanted, so I had to go back to the original site and re-order the shoe and size 7 was available, but the return option wouldn't give me that option. I had to return the 1st pair get a refund, then go back and re-order the shoe again at a price increase!First pair was 51.47 second pair 56.43. Not good!!!

I typically wear an 8 (sometimes a 7.5) in loafers/booties, but for these I had to size down ONE FULL SIZE to a 7! Crazy inconsistent sizing. The size 7.5 pair had about a full inch of space between my heel and the back of the shoe. Once I sized down, the shoes fit perfectly and were honestly very comfortable.This style is strange. I love the pointy-toe look, and these fall somewhere between an ankle boot and a loafer. They’re interesting, but they also look like they’ll take a bit of effort to pair with the right pants. And also, the sock situation is a difficult one, as even low-cut “invisible” socks will show on the sides. You’ll have to go sockless if you want the shoes to look like they do in the photos. Which leads me to my biggest issue…… these shoes are 100% SYNTHETIC! Soo expensive for something that will trap odors and sweat, and potentially tear and scuff. If these were worn without socks, I’m pretty sure they would have a short shelf life. Also, the wedge heels are fake wood, too. It’s like a faux wood decal that is applied to the rubber sole. Why did Naturalizer cheap out and decide to cut all the corners here?I can’t justify paying such a high price for something of subpar synthetic quality. On a positive note, I learned a great lesson moving forward - I’ll be sure to pay very close attention to materials and craftsmanship before ordering shoes online.

These shoes are great. 4 stars only fur to my feet, not the shoes. I have bunions and they're a pinch too narrow for ne, yet still comfortable.

It’s a cute shoe, but I felt like the heel was to low and the fit was very snug.

Sharp looking for most occasions

I bought these to wear with leggings. I needed wide width. These fit perfectly. They are not slippery and I can wear all day. They are well worth the price. I am so glad I bought them.
