What an improvment it has made
This produce had me skeptical because the price was very reasonable. I was wrong. An exceptional product that if you have a gas stove without a fan you need to get. Easy to install as it took no more than 10 minutes once I cleaned the area out. The fan does made a bit of noise( I have it at about 65% of the max power) but it is nowhere near annoying. The heat that it does throw out is amazing. Our mantel would get so hot it made me nervous to run it too long but now it is barely warm. The sensor that turns it off and on works perfectly, so I set the fan speed and that is it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get more efficiency out of their gas fireplace.

I wish it was a bit quieter
It’s a good product. It works, but dial it passed half speed and the noise is very noticeable.

Install in a Superior DRT2035 fireplace
Pros: 1. Will heat you out of the room on high2. Easy to install, once you disassemble part of the fireplace (see below)3. Quiet operation at lower speed4. The area above the FP used to get very warm, now it stays cool as the warm air is forced into the room, should have done this years ago.5. I’d buy this unit again!Cons: 1. You’ll have to disassemble the bottom spring retention assembly to get the blower into the space for Superior Fireplaces2. The variable speed controller seems to get hot but so far works great

Remove door to slide in unit.
Was fairly easy to install...about 30 minutes.Tested before installing to make sure temperature switch, motor, and speed dial worked.Remove the hinged door to slide unit in and center blower with opening of the convection duct. You can use the sticky backs but I opted with hex head self tappers to hold the blower motor.Placed the temperature switch 2 inches in front of the left side of blower motor on the metal plate that makes up the bottom of the fireplace floor. See pictures. You can run your fireplace and feel for temperature where you might want to place it safely.Used a sticky back on bottom of speed dial to complete the installation.Plugged her in and tested. Happy. Blows quite good.

Easy Install.
Blower works excellent, the fan is a fan so yeah it makes noise don't expect it to be quiet. Compare it to a level BELOW a kitchen exhaust fan. Remember the thermal switch must reach 120 degrees, take some readings from your box for the best placement

Just What We Needed in Our Gas Fireplace
Our home was built with a gas fireplace. The previous owner never hooked it up. When we had the gas connected we realized there was no blower installed by the builder. Lucky for us the original owner left the manual for the unit inside of it That made it easy to identify this as a suitable blower for our fireplace. Installation took a little wiggling around to get it past the gas line and control unit. All in all an easy installation and a good fit. It is a little louder than i expected but since it has a speed control you can adjust to the airflow and noise level you want in your home. I would recommend this blower.

Same Part Number
Even though it had the exact same part number I was forced to make modifications to accommodate it. It barely makes a difference. I was expecting more air flow from the product. Would not go through the hassle to put it in again.

Excellent product
After ordering another product that I was not at all happy with for many reasons I ordered this one. The quality of this blower is a night and day difference. This one has roller ball bearings and built much heavier. It was easy to install and runs quiet. It was the same price as the junk one. Win, win!
