Fotodiox EZ-Pro Octagon Softbox 36" with Speedring for Elinchrom Monolights, Prolinca, BXRi Style, Ranger Strobe & more

I am a professional photographer and I am always looking for great deals and I found one with the Pro Studio EZ-Pro Octagon Softbox. I use Elinchrom lighting and I have several Elinchrom brand light modifiers and they are great but very expensive. When I found this octagon I thought I will try it and see if its any good...WOW what a surprise. This thing is GREAT and setting it up could not be easier. If you can open an umbrella you can use this with no problem. It is very well constructed and produces beautiful soft light and very portable. I use it mainly with my Elinchrom Quadra portable lighting system and loving it. You can`t go wrong purchasing this especially if you are on a budget like myself & most other photographers. Do yourself a favor and spend a fraction of what most retailers want for a product like this and enjoy beautiful soft light.

I have been using this box now for several months. It has a sturdy build. Good quality brackets and all metal construction. You do have to use a little muscle opening it up. It packs great and works well with my Elinchrom Ranger Quadra.The light I get from this box is what I really love! The diffuser, baffle and dish is a great combination to soften that light without losing the amount and quality that comes out of this box. I really can't believe the cost on this box. It's well built and I would definitely recommend.

Excellent light modifier. The mounting ring can be changed out to adapt it to other brands of strobes such as Alien Bees or Elinchrom. As others have said - skip the grid as it doesn't hold a proper shape to be useful.
