Jackson Ultima Fusion Elle, Evo, Freestyle, Premiere Figure Ice Skates for Women, Men, Girls and Boys

These skates were purchased for my younger daughter who is in Freeskate 1 level. The boot is nice and rigid, and allows her to perform the moves at her level that are necessary at level and to move up. The wide width of the boot is nice for skaters with wider feet. This is actually our second pair of these skates for my daughter because the first pair worked out so well (she just outgrew them). Highly recommended. The Jackson brand in general is an excellent skate.

Negative first:I have bought a really good pair of skates but after almost 3 months of skating I am still trying to break them in my feet are killing me by the time I'm done skating and unfortunately I skated better in the rentals I skate once a week for about 2.5 hours I wear gel sleeves and gel pads and I fell so bad on it because my toe pick hit the ice that I have a movable hard piece in my knee I have had them baked and stretched and they are still fighting I feel like even though I am a beginner I am completely relearning how to skate it really bites I'm just hoping that they break in soonNow for the Positives:They are really good quality, strong and well made with good materials. Blades are nice really strong and the pro shop owner said that they were a pleasure to sharpen and they really held the ice after they were sharpened the toe pick really grips the ice and is easily accessible when skating as you don't have to dig it in hard as it kind of works on it's own to be honest all of my other skate I had to really bite the ice with them for them to work.Overall a really good purchase and it will be even better when they finally break them in which will hopefully be really soon fingers crossed

These are beautiful, well made skates. Heating them definitely speeds the break in period. My daughter's feet hurt badly after her first lesson but we had heated them to mold them to her foot and her next lesson was not painful. This was her first pair of non-beginner skates and she finds them wonderful to skate in. The blades came nice and sharp. I can hear them cutting the ice from across the rink.

The heat molding made my Freestyles go from painful in places to perfectly conformed to my feet. If you're measured correctly for the skates and they don't fit quite perfectly, definitely give the heat molding a shot. I skated on and off for several years in Riedell Emeralds until they were so worn out they had barely any ankle support left. After breaking these in after a few sessions the difference is amazing. I already feel so much more confident and secure in these. If you're an adult still in the basic levels these are a great place to start. Adult skaters I've heard should start with a little bit stiffer boot due to being much heavier than children. It's an investment well made.

Definitely a break down in communication. I called Jackson they said not their problem (re boot not being 💯 secure)! Plus reviews deceiving I thought this came with a heat mold etc... and it doesn’t

Extremely dissapointed with the fact i believed these were brand new .... they weren't. My daughters skate teacher told us the creese in the skates shown in the picture takes 2 years to develope .... enough said ....

Great skates. The boot is like suede. Also they come with the setting screws for the blades.

We were so glad to get these skates. It was hard to find a wide ice skate. Great service, shipped quickly! Couldn't be happier.

Tenía unos Excel y necesitaba un cambio de nivel. Mi coach me recomendó estos para usarlos por mucho tiempo y estoy empezando a amarlos.Son ligeros y calientitos por dentro, los cristales atrás son adorables y la cuchilla viene con buen filo, aún no puedo frenar.Al inicio me asusté porque no me entraba el pie con el calcetín, pero es por el relleno.Otro punto bueno es que tienen plantilla lo que da soporte en el arco y la puedes quitar para secarla.Les acabo de poner cinta para proteger la piel, por recomendación que mi coach, espero dominarlos pronto, pero si he visto mejora en mis filos con la nueva rigidez de la bota.
