I, seemingly, am on a never ending search for a good light to illuminate my work while knitting. Unfortunately, this one is not it. It was easy to assemble, and the light was good. However, I could not get it to turn off. After assembling, I plugged it in and the light came on. No matter what I did, short of unplugging it, it would not turn off. The power button on the remote would only change the brightness/temperature of the light. It was the same issue with the touch sensor on the end of the light. I tried calling the number (during their listed business hours) on the enclosed "manual" thinking there was some trick I was not getting. No one answered and I got sent to a voicemail. I wasn't going to wait who knows how long for someone to call me back, so I returned this. When I say "manual" it was basically just a couple of pages of pictures showing how to assemble the unit. There was no explanation for the remote which has several buttons with pictures on them. Things like a laptop, cup of coffee, baby bottle, game controller. Pushing any of them did nothing to the light. There's also a moon button at the top - whatever that was for. I even went on their website to see if there would be explanation/support for the unit, but there was nothing. Anyway, back it went. The search continues.

I received one lamp that was defective but quickly replaced by the vendor/Amazon. The lamp has very nice, graceful lines, but has a nice, subtle heft to it that a similar lamp on Amazon (Brightech Sparq) lacks. It's not terribly bright, but that's okay for my purposes. Assembly is easy enough (but required a footstep for me to reach the top) but the 2 screws that hold the top together are really, really teeny and easily dropped inside or outside of the tubes that comprise the lamp. The box I received didn't have any instructions for the remote, but the four buttons at the bottom change the brightness/color tone of the light. The only other thing I've noticed is that BOTH my cats have figured out that they can make the light go on if they touch the very end of the lamp, and they do it incessantly, so the remote is getting a lot of use :) Go figure. >^..^<

I have had this lamp now for over a week, and I have to say how much I am loving it!✔️I love the remote control that not only easily turns the lamp on/off form the other side of the room but is also a dimmer to adjust the brightness and color✔️ 5 preset options and color temperature settings and one is specifically set for reading✔️Elegant design that is chic, minimalist, and artistic✔️ The dimension suits small or large rooms and for multiple usage.

The design was perfect for the lamp to sit behind the couch and laminate over the seating area I needed. It brightens up the corner but doesn't doesn't blind the eyes from across the room. Great for targeted lighting such as over the table on game nights or over any area you want lit without being overwhelming. The only complaint I have is it would randomly turn on. Initially I thought the remote was sending false signals so I'd remove the batteries to see if that helped. But it would still randomly turn on overnight. Maybe the touch sensor is too sensitive to the static in the air or whatever. Who knows.I solved the issue by adding a smart plug so I'd voice active the light, like others in my house. And since then, its given me no issues. I can still adjust light tone with control or touch sensor.

When I opened the box and set it up, I was a little taken back by how thin it is,. It doesn't add to the aesthetics of the room, but the lighting over the couch is fantastic. I love the various presets on the remote so I can help set the mood of the room for the desired activity. I personally use the morning. coffee setting to wake me up during my morning reading and the night setting for my evening reading and TV watching. It has modes for reading, gaming, and with the variable brightness settings for just about anything you'll want it for. Again.... It's kind of like a lurking lamp hanging over you, but it is what it is. The packaging was superb and protected every part of the lamp. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Have 2 of these lamps, overall they are decent. Easy to put together though I wish the cord went through the base rather than beside, and I wish there were another point of contact I could use than just the end for manual control as I can't reach the ends easily given they are centered over our sectional. I like the ability to change color tone from yellow to blue and brightness. If there was a way to get one remote to work for both of them, that would be awesome and entirely solve our main issue with these.

For the price of this lamp, this was disappointing . It appears to be working but the remote doesn’t work . The brightness doesn’t work. The power button doesn’t even work . I didn’t want to return it, because I plugged it up to a smart plug to be able to turn it on and off but I’m just so disappointed, it wasn’t worth all that money. Looks pretty though.

You can then keep tapping that same spot to set the lighting to your liking. Holding your finger on to that spot will then turn the light off. How cool is that?
