I have been doing my own nails for about 2 years with Acrylic, I work in construction and my nails get exposed to lots of solvents and chemicals and I try to always wear gloves but sometimes they get punctures and the acrylic nails tend to discolor and separate from my natural nail. It’s also par for the course that I break one or two between each fill in. On top of that I have been doing the acrylic on my patio because my SO finds the smell nauseating and it does linger in the house for several days sometimes, also our cats like to sit right up under me while I do this and they definitely need to breath the dust or fumes from this up either. I bought this stuff, not even planning on using the fiberglass to build the shape, I like mine long and pointy, but gave it a try anyway. This stuff is amazing. I had removed all of my acrylic and started from zero, my natural nails, trimmed back short and buffed clean. First of all, using this product cut the amount of time it takes me to do my nails by 2/3. Especially if you use a full hand UV lamp instead of the mini- single nail one that comes with this kit. Its a great nail lamp with built in timer but obviously just takes more time to do one by one. The nude is the most perfect natural nail look I have ever found. I have a medium olive complexion and I find a lot of nudes that look great on paler complexions either look too light/opaque, too bubble gum or too yellow against my skin. This nude buffs out beautifully to wear matte or you can put the gloss top coat on. There has been no cracking, no discoloring, no separating and no breaking and I have been hard on these nails. You have to get the hang of using the gel, it took me a few minutes. It’s thick and sticky but if you paint it on and give it a minute or so, like move to the next nail or two before you put it under the UV light to cure its kind of self leveling and most ridges and lumps will lay down on their own and then you can put them under the lamp. I would still recommend shaping them in an area where you can thoroughly clean up the dust though, at least if you use the little hairs to build length/extend, that stuff is fiberglass and the dust is extremely itchy and unpleasant if you do it say sitting Indian style on your couch in a pair of boy shorts just letting the dust fall on your bare skin and sofa, bad idea. Sand with your hands over a table top and small hand towel underneath that doesn’t get washed with anything else.

The product was good but the packaging needs work. It was sticky and icky when I opened it and it took me an hour straight to clean up the gel residues. I was hoping it would have a seal inside the container. That would've prevented the gel residues coming out of the container during shipping. Overall, the product is good. It's soak off builder gel and its strong.

First off I wanna say I do appreciate the brand and the value you definitely get ! That’s the best thing about it !……. I’ve been using hard gels for a few years now . So I know how to work them so I was definitely happy when I saw this .. huge container of hard gel for a good price .. I didn’t read the reviews because.. I’ve always seen people reviews stuff I’ve liked so I hardly read them or write them . But I should have . This is great for starters of hard gel because this is a pretty soft formula. To the point where I used my 120 w lamp , and left my hand I. There for 3 mins . And it was somehow still wet , when I wiped it and used my e file . The product chipped way . So I tried different techniques and just ended up using it has a hard top coat ,So long story short ,, for a true starter -beginner Who is not expecting long hold time .. start with this get the hang of it…. Other wise you might be little disappointed! They just need to update the formula so it can become harder and less soft when cured !

I got this because the last time I got my acrylics removed they over filed and drilled my natural nails, leaving them extremely thin. I wanted to use this to protect my nails until my natural nails grow in. It only lasts a day or so for me, and starts to peel from the tips/sides. I am not sure what I'm and doing wrong ....

As long as you prep your nails properly and cure it full time this stuff works wonders ! It’s so much easier to used than acrylic or dip powder

I love this nail builder. So easy to use and cure. I bought the clear one it's definitely one to have in your nail collection! Only thing it's super sticky but with a little alcohol cleans right up.

I have been doing my own nails for several years and wanted to try something new. My nail light is 180w so no curing issues. The results tho are awesome! I can't wait to perfect my technique!

I bite my nails constantly and have for years and i have tried so much to stop…bad tasting nail polish, false nails, tape around the nail, but so far this is really working. I have never done gel nails before and i found this super easy to use and the builder gel was the perfect consistency. The only problem i had was that if you used fibreglass on the nail instead of the guides and you put too much fibreglass on the nail (like i did on my thumb) you can see it through the gel. The nude is a lovely base colour and the lamp was very easy to use. I would recommend getting a primer and dehydrator (I got mine from modelones) as it has helped to keep the gel on for longer. Would definitely purchase this again :)

I am a complete novice when it comes to anything to do with nails. I begrudge paying to have them done professionally as I always manage to pick them or I get fed up of them after just days and file/remove them.Using this allows me to do them cheaper and it doesn’t matter if I remove them as it’s only cost £20 for this full kit.I found the product easy to use, it’s a bit sticky so takes a bit a patience, but I think, if I can achieve this as a first timer, it mustn’t be too bad of a product. I wish I’d taken a before photo to show how short my nails where before using the builder gel.I followed the instructions for the light curing time, I did find that the light can be a little hot sometimes, but only when curing the topcoat. So I turned the light off for a couple seconds halfway through the curing time.I haven’t given it time to see how well it wears, but as I’m always picking and filing gels ect so I’m not too bothered about how long it lasts as I can just top up and adjust as much as I like.

This was my first time using this brand of gel. It’s not stiff to use. It is quite flexible (but not runny), i would say it has a medium consistency about it. Great value the money you pay for the amount you get in the tub. I mainly use clear gel for most nail looks. Beginners shouldn’t have a problem using it if they know the basics on how to apply gel to any nail. Only thing I would say is it does randomly get bubbles but they do go and it’s not a huge issue to work with. I would buy again when I’ve ran out. You can use this for nail extensions and can be dissolved/removed with acetone. Photo to show a false nail look using the gel.

This products fairly good, no heat spike on this product so that's great! Consistency is thick, but managable after few tries. Look good and is quite strong which is good, as I'm a nail biter.Good good

First time I tried this product. Was difficult had yo use YouTube for help.Putting the gel on was very difficult however with practice the end finish was very good. Bad point once the gel is opened the next day the consistency went completely and could not use it. So expensive !
