Not Brass, Not Gold, but a very weak alloy.A very pretty and versatile set of pins however, while I didn't expect them to be brass, they are not plated steel.They are some weak and cheap alloy leaving the small pins prone to bend and fail.

There are a decent assortment of nails and pins in this handy box. I like the fact that the box is supplied with them, saves having to find bags and containers to keep them in. The contents were strong enough for our intended use, on a home-made bird box, we had none that bent as we were hammering through the wood. These in my opinion were a good buy.

I used the pins to house my buddah in my studio . I had some pallet wood and other bits and pieces he now has a paper shrine fit for a buddah instead of him just sitting on the shelf .

Spot on for little indoor bits!I only got these, as I wanted a gold set for my room, even if I couldn't see them, I wanted to know they matched everything else beautifully!You get a good amount of nails, in each variety of size and there are a good few to choose from. All are kept in a plastic storage case.They seem decent quality for the price. Not one bent that I was using. They're all still going months later, holding everything up well.I would recommend them! Worth the price.
