One of the reasons I like the KeySmart is that I ordered another brand of compact key organizer first (and returned). You'd think one is pretty much the same as the others, right? I was surprised to find out that this wasn't so.I edited this review to add my experience with what sound like the most common complaints: assembling it and screws coming loose:* Assembly. I understand that it's tricky to get stuff together for the first setup, and once you have it set up, you may need to rearrange some things. But as soon as I ordered it, I received an email with a link to a video that explained precisely how to set it up the easiest way. Maybe this is something that KeySmart has only started recently, but if that's not the case, I don't understand how some reviews claim that there are no instructions.* Loosening screws. I don't understand this one, either. The keys only come in contact with the *stationary* posts because the screws that loosen/tighten thread inside the stationary posts, so I don't understand how moving a key can affect the screw tightness at all. Maybe the screws aren't tight enough to begin with? Bottom line, I have had ZERO problems with screws loosening.OK, now time for my review...What do I *not* like? I think it's a little chintzy that a bottle opener is optional. But that's it for the "room for improvement" section.What *do* I like?1) The washers are made from a thin, firm, fiber material. The result is that you have room for more keys (because the washers are thin) and the keys sit firmly parallel to the other keys. Another brand had thicker, squishy rubber washers that left some keys sitting at an angle and interfering with the keys on the opposite side.2) Nice streamlined design. No silly stuff like wrenches or "mobile phone holders" in the outside plates.3) Lightweight! Crazy - I didn't think this would make much of a difference, but the other one I bought (and returned) was stamped steel or something, and the weight difference was surprisingly significant.4) The back posts are knurled, and don't turn when you tighten the screws into them.5) The quality of the materials is much better. And you can order replacement parts if necessary. Maybe I'm naive, but unlike some of the knock-off brands, I feel like this company will be there for a while, and not on to make the next cheap knock-off item after they sell out the production run of this one.

I purchased this key holder 7 years ago. It has a lot of small parts that you can add or remove to get the perfect fit for the keys you want to attach. I got the red one, and it’s nice and vibrant and easy to spot when I’m looking for my keys. The sleek & compact design makes it so much nicer to carry in your pocket. I actually bought several of them to give as Christmas gifts, because I was so impressed with mine. Everyone loved them. I gave my mom the green one, and she’s also still using it 7 years later. Every once in a while, I have to tighten the screw that holds it together, but that’s to be expected with the design. You’ll be swiveling the keys out and back in, so a little loosening of the screw is unavoidable. I normally just tighten it with my finger, but you can also use any coin as a makeshift screwdriver & tighten it. There are a number of accessories available for it, but I never did get any of those. However, I think I’m going to browse the site now and see if anything looks interesting.Definitely would not want to go without it. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Not as small as i thought. Not so compact, tidy though...

This was an impulse buy for my elderly mother. She could not turn the key to get into her house, due to advanced arthritis. She is fiercely independent and does not want to rely on others. This simple concept allows her to put in the key and create a handle to allow her to easily open the lock. A very easy fix, with a great device that helps her to feel not so helpless.

I bought this one as a gift. I've had one myself for several years and I've loved it. I always keep my house key and my mailbox key in my jeans pocket. This holder keeps the keys flat and streamlined so they fit well in a pocket and not splayed out on a key ring.

I was very excited to get this product and solve my key jingle situation. Additionally, I was concerned that the keys will eventually poke a hole in my purse's lining. On the daily basis, I carry two sets of keys: work and home, so I bought two key holders to replace my two standard key rings. I used the blue holder for my work set and the red one for my home set. My work set consists of 3 larger size keys, and there are just two standard-sized keys for my house.The blue key holder arrived with only 6 washers and the red one had 8 washers. Installation was a little tricky as neither the keys nor the washers wanted to say in place long enough for me to put the screw back in. While it didn't take a lot of time, it did take a lot of patience.My work keys (the blue set) didn't fit into the holder neatly (as you can see in the pictures) - it is still better than the standard key ring, and there is no jingling factor now, but the keys do stick out. I think I may need to get more washers to solve the folding situation - there is just not enough spacing between them. The house keys - just two - fit in perfectly as you can see in the pictures (red holder).So, overall, I am not unhappy, but I wish my work keys fit better.

They always think it’s a knife lol. I’m literally at Jury Duty right now… waiting. Been waiting for hours. So i’m doing reviews. We went to a comedy show in Atlantic City last fall and security there tried to confiscate it and i had to show them it was just for keys. I like them organized and quiet. Which this does. It’s a good product!

Las llaves se acomodan de manera perfecta en el llavero! Es el tercero que adquiero y es un excelente producto. No lastiman las llaves y las puedes portar dentro de la bolsa del pantalón. La extención del llavero solo se requiere en el caso que se tengan muchas llaves.

Mucha calidad, muy cómodo, recomendable 100%.

This isn’t the first key smart I have, took me like 5 mins to fit my 5 keys. This product prevents dangling of keys, so no damage on door when I have a bunch. Also takes up less space when in bag or pocket. Very happy with the product.
