Relive the golden 60s when Chow Mo-wan (played by Tony Leung) encountered So Lai-chun (played by Maggie Cheung) and began their enticing love affair in In the Mood For Love. A selection of Chinese opera titles, mandarin classics, jazz favorites by Nat King Cole and the characters' live-recorded scripts sonically constructed a picture of love and lust in this film, which is considered to be one of Wong Kar-wai's best work to-date. One must not miss the haunting "Yumeji's Theme" by Japanese composer Shigeru Umebayashi and the "Angkor Wat Themes" by Michael Galasso that has brought this film to it's perfection.

If it isn't for love!
What can someone say about this wonderfully rare gem of film and soundtrack?! This is the best record i've purchased in years. Great sound details, and gatefold ufff! Masterpiece that one must have whether they watched the film or not. And the Seller handled this amazingly. Love, love, love!

Zum Träumen...
...und um die melancholiche, traurige Liebeskummer-Stimmung aus dem Film wieder aufleben zu lassen.Einige der Stücke sind (für meinen Geschmack) sehr speziell, grade wenn der chinesische Gesang zum Einsatz kommt.Aber auch unter diesen Stücken sind wunderschöne dabei, ich höre die CD oft im Auto oder Zuhause, entweder nebenbei oder ganz "konzentriert" abends, auf dem Sofa, bei Kerzenlicht und einem Glas Wein :-)Die Musik spiegelt die Stimmung des Films gut wieder, man kann nochmal mitleiden und mitschmachten.Generell kenne ich mich nicht mit der Musik aus dieser Zeit aus, aber mir sind die Stücke sofort ins Ohr gegangen.Kauf nicht bereut :-)
