This was exactly what I needed. This shipping was good. Item was in good condition. Good price for it as well. It keeps its shape for a very long time. Still have it, and it's the same. I love how it's long enough to let it hang off the top of my head, and it still fits tightly. This color is really nice too.

It’s a little bit large compared to a lot of beanies but I personally prefer my beanies this way and I wish that more places made theirs this way. This is by far one of my favorite beanies if not my absolute favorite.

I'll just out and say it: I'm a marine biologist. No, I don't study dolphins. I study another large marine animal, of a slightly toothier variety.Of course, like every other person somehow associated with marine environments, I wanted to emulate good ol' Jacque...and Team Zissou. I really feel my profession every time I put this hat on.It was pretty darn snug on my head (but I have a big head...I'm a scientist, so hopefully that means more brains), but it's stretched out a bit and is comfortable. It keeps me warm, but not too hot (when wrestling animals you don't want sweat dripping in your eye). All in all, a good buy.

I haven’t used it yet, but upon looking at it the hat seems to be of great quality, the color is spot on. I have it for one of my Halloween costumes. Price is a little steep but it’ll work! Fast shipping too!

I used this for a Steve Zissou outfit on Halloween. It was almost a perfect match! More so than the picture had me believing. I was a little worried it was going to be bulkier than the beanies on the movie but it was not. For costume purposes this was as good as it gets, so for anyone out there looking for the red beanie for a Life Aquatic costume, look no further. You'll will be happy with this. This beanie is great as soon as I got it(27 MAY 09), I immediately put it on and noticed it constricted my head into a state of comfort. I then realized How hot my noggin was getting so I took it off and put it in a drawer by my bed where it has been since. It will be perfect for winter. With it's brightly lit color everyone will see how warm I am from miles away. People will say "That dude is warm."

Wore it to a twenty one pilots concert - not too warm, just right, soft, nice shape

Big beanie. Pretty comfortable, but not very stretchy. I had hoped that it would be a good prop for a zissou costume, but it is too firm to allow for rubber band on the top.. otherwise solidly made.
