4D Cityscape Lord of The Ring Middle Earth 3D Time Puzzle (1390 Piece)

I really liked putting this puzzle together. The base layer, or map, was super challenging due to the similar coloring and lack specific landmarks in large spots. The second topographical layer was far less difficult, but overall, I am thrilled with the look of this thing!

It's one cool puzzle lots of fun

We had a VERY difficult time with this puzzle.We are NOT advanced puzzle people, but this one almost broke us.The base puzzle:They do mean "precision cut pieces". When placing together the board especially, we had to disassemble because we had misplaced a piece that we thought fit fine, but was incorrect upon further assembly.It was a challenge, and we got to a point of it being a duty to finish this puzzle...but I am happy we did.The foam puzzle:Much less challenging, we put that together in ~1 day.Was actually enjoyable after the base puzzle.It doesn't fit together as "precisely" as the base puzzle, so using double sided tape is probably a must, at least for our copy. If we don't there will be portions of the puzzle curling or sticking up where we don't want it to be.Once you add the 3D terrain, these make a fantastic conversation piece.Still trying to figure out mounting, but it looks great on a table.

This is a beautiful and challenging puzzle. It is fairly large (30 X 18 in). The frame was relatively easy, with the blue water pieces being moderately difficult. The real challenge is the land portion made up of tan pieces with red and black writing. Well worth the effort. Mine is glued and displayed.

And I now know I SUCK at jigsaw puzzles!!!BUT... I FREAKING LOVE the MINIATURES!!... Minas Tirith at this scale is AWESOME!!!... it's going in my WETA cabinet!.

Great game for the price. The only downside is that all the armies are either blue or red. I was implored to paint them. That was pretty fun but with 200+ miniatures it took a while.

Fun to put togther

Fantastic Lord of the Rings jigsaw, took me a couple of months to finish it having a go here and there but really enjoyed it. The finished look was great and a real bonus have three levels to it.Make sure you have room to keep it safe while you are doing it as it is pretty big but would heartily recommend to any LOTR fans.
