Easy set up and works great
Was an easy setup. My other Liftmaster was too old we had to get new rail but this machine runs great! Loving it!

Overall very happy. In the Q&A for this item it said it would not work with the old T-rail. That is incorrect. It will work. I had an old (1998) liftmaster with the T-rail and I took the chance that this new liftmaster would connect to it and it would work fine. It did. It was a drop in replacement and very easy to swap out with the old. First small issue was that it won't work with any of my old remotes or keypad. No big deal. I am know buying some new ones. Second larger issue is that my new 2017 car with HomeLink will not talk to the opener. Bummer. The instal manual said that I likely have to buy a HomeLink repeater. This was a little frustrating. Will have to buy that also. I was going to give 3 stars but I also purchased the Liftmaster Internet gateway 828LM and it was really easy to setup and worked the first try. I was very impressed with this since the app installed on my phone and worked the first time. Just plug the gateway into your network before you try to add the device on the web.
