Used for a subway tile faux-finish! Worked very well.
I bought this to use for a rather ambitions home improvement project that involved painting a wall in my kitchen to look like subway tile. I painted the wall the "grout" color, then used a level and this tape to section off my tiles, row by row. I then painted over the whole wall, tape included, and peeled it gently after everything had dried. It turned out beautifully, and is exactly what I'd hoped for.If you decide to use it for the same purpose, I have some advice:* You really need to press the tape firmly down after applying it. A good seal is key. I was annoyed at how long this took after the effort of putting it up, but it was obvious where I'd put in the extra effort after everything was peeled away.* Try to keep your top paint layers to a max of 3-4 over the tap, including any tile-specific sealants. The more layers you put on top of the tape, the more it will be bound to the "tile". That can result in some unwanted lifting when you remove the tape.* PEEL SLOWLY. SO VERY SLOWLY. The biggest mistake that I made was in trying to dramatically rip the tape up after everything dried. Take it slow. If you pull the tape fast, any areas where the top coat has bonded to the tape will lift, resulting in a ruined tile job. I got lucky, and realized my mistake before I'd done too much damage. I was able to glue my lifted tile corners back down, and they are still nice and flat after more than a month of use. However, I could have spared myself by pulling the tape off more carefully.* Buy more than you think you'll need. I got two spools, thinking that it was wildly wasteful, but I just wanted to have extra in case my project grew in scope, or I needed it later. I ended up using one and a half packages to create 2.5"x8.5" subway tile over most of a 6'x9' wall area. (Cabinets cover part of the top of the wall, which were installed before I did the tile.) If I'd had to do the entire wall without cabinets to eat up part of the area, I would have had just barely enough with two packages. Plan accordingly.

Average tape but good value for novice modelers
Used for straight line on a 1/144 model. The model had rivets on the side. Tape didn't stick that firmly (partially from the rivets) or stretch so I had some bleeding under it in a few spots. The skinny width is what is so useful about the tape. I am not and don't plan to be a fanatic model builder so the tape was satisfactory for me. It was better than free-handing it. I think it is a good value for a novice modeler who does not want to spend a lot of money especially after seeing what others charge for a similar product. I give the product an overall "OK" rating. I only had a few areas where I needed a straight line and the model is for my enjoyment, not others.

It SUCKS!!!
its not sticky at all. no wonder it doesn't leave residue, it doesn't HAVE anything to leave behind!!! The tape doesn't curve or bend at all. I tried and it just crinkled and looks like S***If you pull on it too hard, the other end comes up or slides down in the direction you're pulling. it doesn't stick on the edges so you are left with these bubbles.spend the extra $5 and go with Custom Shop tape.

Used for cosplay and worked great!
This year the family is doing a Spiderverse theme and I was Spider-Woman. She has leather gloves with red and black stripes on the palms of the gloves so I needed a way to make these thin lines without losing my mind. I looked around Amazon and found this tape. Worked like a charm! While is some spots it bled a bit, but only in two places as over all it worked just like I wanted and when I pulled it off the leather gloves it didn't do any damage and made for a stellar paint job. So it works very well on leather! Haven't used it on anything else yet, but with tape this thin, I'll probably find other uses for future projects!

Garbage!!
Garbage Ordered it so it would bend and it doesnt. Folds at the bends just like it were a half or quarter inch thick. Came right off when paint was sprayed over it. Wouldnt even bend around those lower panels on my fairing. Shouldve stopped while i was ahead...

Don’t use on clothes and shoes
Great unless your using on clothes and shoes but it’s not for that . I bought it for a diy shoes project where I needed to tape off lines, the tape sucks on suede or suede like materials so I don’t recommend using it for anything except what it’s listed for

Good for straight lines, not so good for curves
For the price and the sharpness it awesome, only thing is that it will not bend like 3m vinyl fine line, it is masking tape quality material, so it would be like trying to bend masking tape

Best tape ever!
Greatest tape! The best tape, possibly ever! The previous owner of this house had shabby tape in, but i replaced it with this one which is superior in every way!It does the best job in the way of being tape.

Good deal: easy to use.
This tape was not only good value for the money, but easy to use. Maybe not the best for high-end paint jobs, but great for your average work.
