This is a sturdy looking foot. My issue with it is that the pin in the middle is further over to the left making the whole stitch narrower, meaning it is harder to capture all joining fabric.It connects to sewing machine well.I bought this one as it mentioned brother in the description and paid quite a bit more than others to get one that was the same as the one that came with my machine, but unfortunately it wasn't the same design.

Love this accessory! It makes overstitching the edge of a seam so easy. Also makes a very clean look.

It did not work with my Janome 3160 QDC. I made two needle marks on it by mistake because the needle was farther up from the hole than it should be; so I couldn't even make one stitch with it when I tried twice. Plus the foot didn't have the "E" letter as pictured; mine had a different imprint. That could have been the problem, but I just returned mine. A shame because it looked sturdy and priced very well, but doesn't work with my machine model specifically.
