This is probably my own fault, wanted to try something different. For context, I usually drink Teavana (Emperors Clouds and Mist), Tazo, or Stash green tea. These are more in the Japanese or Chinese style, with distinctive earthy (sometimes grassy) flavors and green color.This "green tea" is VERY different from that. It's an Indian Darjeeling tea, which gives it a very different color and flavor than I expected. Color is orange/brown, and flavor is much more floral and less "green tea" like.Like I said this is probably my fault. Here I was wanting to try something new and drawn in by the organic claim.But if you're like me and are used to (and prefer) Chinese or Japanese green tea, this is probably not what you're looking for at all.Live and learn, I guess!

I've been drinking this tea for about 3 months now and I have lost 16 lbs! I highly recommend this tea to help boost weight loss in combination with a healthy diet.

I mention "Teabag" because I don't want customer to make the same mistake I did and blame Vahdam simply because we don't understand the difference. I expected the same level of Chai Masala my favorite Indian resturant and a good friend mother provides. I realize now It's impossible to perfect that taste in a dipping teabag. Therefore, I want to commend Vahdam for allowing me to try their loose version of Chai Masala as it was absolutely perfect!I leave with this suggestion, try this product, if you enjoy it great. If it didn't meet your taste, knowing the information provided above and expectations, rather than leave a negative feedback, try their loose leaf Chai Masala bag, you will not be dissapointed. The company has great customer service and wants to ensure it's customers are satisfied. Keep in mind their tea is excellent providing one has the right expectation. Edit on review. Yes it's great tea but it's single steep not double so you will need two bags to receive full taste. It's also not enough product per bag. I'm very particular about teas. I buy several types from all over the world quite frequently. This is not a deal if your paying double for one and receiving less!

I cant live without green tea. I have been drinking green tea for 10 years now and it's my secret for staying nearly perfectly healthy in my mid 40's! This brand is good. It's very potent, fresh and works great. No awful after taste and the bags are premium! I always pay full price and never receive anything for free. If you want to develop a strong immune system and you enjoy FRESH green tea, I would spend the extra money and buy this. I was buying Lipton for years, but not after trying the Vahdam. I can taste a difference and so far, my immune seems stronger than ever after a month of drinking 1-2 teas per day. .

I'm really disappointed that this is not a returnable item. I tried the first bag - it was the same size as the very expensive brand, but there was so little product in comparison. I normally drink a moderately priced Ginger/Tumeric tea, and there was so little flavor from this in comparison to the good tea. Honestly, I looked at both the dry and completely rehydrated parts. The turmeric swelled up, but the ginger was very hard to even after soaking an hour. There is a powdery residue at the bottom of the cup as well, which I have never had with my more expensive brands. I'm throwing this in the garbage.

Nice organic green tea. This is my first time trying this tea and it's not bad. I typically buy my organic and herbal tea from Tea Forte, which I continue to do so. I tried the Vahdam tea for two reasons. First, I prefer to use a mesh tea bag, non-bleached, and without a staple attached to the tea bag. This tea passes the test for me pertaining to those three things. Second, the tea that I purchase from Tea Forte is my special tea, like for weekends or entertaining guests, so I wanted an everyday organic green tea. For me, this is a great everyday tea. I am pleased with the quality and the price. As for the taste, honestly I really don't drink it for the taste as I drink it for health purposes. This tea is flavorful and mildly pungent in taste to my palate. I would recommend this tea for everyday use, but not so much for entertaining.

I usually buy my turmeric tea at my local store, but was wanting something a bit more cheaper. Even though buying this brand is cheaper, the taste is not as strong as the one I usually buy. I need to leave this tea steeping almost 10 minutes or more to get any flavor. If left for the recommended 3-5 minutes all you get is very light turmeric tasting water.

I bought this tea for help with arthritis. Turmeric and ginger are recommended for inflammation. The taste is warm and not overpowering. Very soothing tea for tension, warming for cold days. I read the Vadham story and am impressed with their ethos. The bags are pyramid shape and there are whole chunks of both spices. Recommended

Recently purchased the box of 100 Tea bags for the 2nd time. Had initially purchased the box of 30 tea bags.This time the taste of Green tea is not uniform across the tea bags.For some tea bags the taste is same as earlier. But for other tea bags, taste is very different and color of the tea becomes very dark after few seconds of brewing.Either some of the tea bags are rancid or some other type of tea was packed in them.Never faced such issue earlier. Have been drinking Green tea daily from many years and have mainly tried 2 brands 'Organic India' and Twinings.Begrudgingly posting the 1st negative review for this tea brand

Thought I’d spend a little more than usual and buy a quality ginger tea. This is gorgeous, best one I’ve had and the turmeric is an added bonus! There’s actual chunks of ginger and turmeric in the bag and the flavour is there, but not too much. I leave the bag in while I drink it….perfect!Feel like it’s helping with my joint inflammation also.Expensive, yes, but well worth it. I like the companies ethos also :-) Will buy again.

Earl Grey has been my tea of choice for over 30 years now and during this time I have tried many different brands but kept coming back to teapigs. About a year ago I found Newby Earl Grey and thought that I had finally found the most delicious tea ever.However I had ordered some Vahdam at the same time which arrived a couple of days later. Boy was I wrong. This tea is absolutely wonderful.I generally have Newby in the morning and Vahdam in the evening. They are both wonderful but Vandam wins hands down.

I would term this as a gentle tea because the taste is not overly strong.I do find if comforting and a nice bedtime drink.Some turmeric is powerful and too strong ... I found this one just rifht.
