The replacement part is in original condition and works great!

Very easy to use. Of course it relies on light spring tension to keep all the battery terminals tightly connected, while the original tube had soldered tabs between each battery for a less resistive connection. That may be why the roller shade sounds like it is struggling a bit to roll up each day, compared to how I remember the original wand in its prime. Still, there is no way I was going to try to duplicate that sort of soldered connection between batteries anyway, so this is about as good as it was going to get. This reloadable wand itself does what I wanted it to do, and does it well. Now it's up to the batteries.

This item is very over priced for being just a simple battery tube

Economical to be able to reload batteries. Takes several AAs.

I was able to add batteries and install this product in less than 5 minutes, way cheaper than hiring the repair service and worked great!

Make sure you only use lithium ion, the reason I had to replace my last one. Works great and was compatible.

Thought our batteries were dead, but it was this little gadget. Quick delivery, easy to replace, and the shades rise and close again.
