Remo: The Autobiography of Remo Fernandes

I like his book in different ideas and values but it should have his signature on book.

I am a sucker for autobiographies, especially those of musicians, and I must say this is one of the good ones I've read. Apart from Remo's life story, the glimpses you get of pre-independence Goa with its Indian-Portugese populace and lifestyle were fascinating.I also must compliment the author's writing style; not sure if it's ghost-written or Remo has written it himself, but either way, an excellent job, making this book a great read.

The coolest, grooviest, hippest rocker in India.A mammoth rock concert, that's what this book is.I am still reading in tiny sips, like you do with good wine.

An excellent read by REMO.Goa's favorite son

I just love everything about this book. Not just because I am a long time fan of Remo, but because the book is an important landmark in the evolution of India's music scene; it is a chronicle of Goa's contemporary history.

Remo's autobiography is un-put-downable!Such a great read!I recommend it one hundred percent to one and all! Parabéns Remo!

A bit long, though.

Remo takes you on a journey of his life that leaves no hidden past. Instead he candidly and honestly recounts his childhood and the joys and pains of growing up. He has a captivating style and one is left with a feeling of having watched an epic film.

A very detailed and well written autobiography. I knew Remo as a college mate studying Architecture in Bombay in the 1970’sI wish you well !
