FINALLY! A company that understands that the skin and bones are a GOOD thing!
It's all right to not like the skin and bones in your salmon--everyone has their own taste, even when it's not about trying to wrap your head around the idea that it's perfectly edible (and nutritious) that way.But for those of us who actually want that included one would think it'd be as simple as just buying the brands that don't say "boneless skinless" on them (as hard as those can be to find; maybe a regional thing?)... yet those usually add a disclaimer saying skin and bones MIGHT be in there, which in my experience usually means they tried their level best to remove it, so it might as well be absent for my purposes. Thus giving this brand a try when I found out it GUARANTEES the inclusion of skin and bones. But of course you're going to pay for quality products. As pricey as this brand is, I opted for the Redhead and Pink salmon multipack because it was (obviously) a much cheaper way to try them both than buying one or the other... Having done so (and having tried both varieties as frozen fish as well), I've decided any future purchases from the brand should strictly be the pink salmon. The redhead is just... the texture makes it seem like a thicker cut of meat regardless of how much it's been pulled apart for canning, which in turn does strange things to the flavor. (Also from what I'm reading, pink is supposedly better for you anyway.)

Not very happy with it.
I have had salmon with skin and bones before but, this one has allot of the small pieces right before you would cut the tail off so there is way more bone than other brands I have had in the past. I really am just feeding it to the dog and prefer not to eat it.

Delicious wild caught canned salmon
This is the best canned wild caught salmon. I used to purchase it years ago at Whole Foods & they stopped carrying it. So glad to see it available on Amazon. I am a repeat customer.

Dented cans
Cans are often dented and therefor unsafe to eat.

Available in my pantry
I’m enjoying the Redhead Wild Alaska salmon for patties, pasta, and salads. It’s flavorful because of the bones and skin packed with the flesh. Within reach when I can’t shop and nutritious as well

Full of grit
Tastes good but has grit or sand in it. Nothing worse than biting into sand. Nearly broke my tooth. Thought it was maybe isolated to just one can, but its in every can. I throwing the remaking cans away. Not worth breaking a tooth.

Delicious and wild caught
I have tried each of the varieties in this pack and all have been excellent. All wild caught and all natural.
