The hose has been great so far
The hose has been great so far. Smells like a beach ball when you first unpack it. Giving 4 stars because my shipment was slightly shorter than advertised -- when I extended the hose completely it was about 48.5'. This was still long enough to meet my needs. Otherwise no complaints, it works well in my garage/shop, connected to a Dust Deputy and shop vac. The clear material definitely helps see whether saw dust and debris are getting clogged up anywhere.

It's clear and bends easily
I wouldn't mind if the PVC was a little thicker, but then it probably would have cost twice as much. Although I didn't really use it much yet, I would think it will work out better if it's not allowed to have much if any slack in the line. It seems to me that the more it's able to move around the quicker it might wear out, and it moves around a lot if it's able. It will also pinch your hand almost instantly if it's not stretched tight while your holding it and you turn on the vacuum. Other than that, it easily fits over 2 inch PVC and I'm thinking it will work out fine. But again, it bends easily and needs supported, especially on lateral runs. It's clear and easy to see through. Again, I didn't use it much yet so I can't really say how it holds up. I would think saw dust and other softer materials would be fine to run through it but I wouldn't run bits of glass or sharp metal particles through it unless I wanted holes in it. I probably won't try it just to see what happens.
