VSVEI Speakeasy Variable Exhaust Insert for All VooDoo Exhausts

This makes your Voodoo exhaust perfect. I run no insert when on the track but when we hit the town for a night out it gives the exhaust a perfect sound. instals in 5 min at most. Just take the allen head bolt out and slide the inner sleeve out. The insert bolts to that with holes that are already drilled. I have no issues with this coming out or coming loose. you will not go wrong with this insert.****UPDATE****Just this morning on the way to work the Speak Easy Insert broke and flew out of my Exhaust. The Two side mounting screws are still there but the Alum. insert is gone!!! Yes it did scratch my New Exhaust Pipe and it struck another vehicle that I was ridding next too. Amazon is replacing it as they are great at this but all I have is the mouning screws that hold it in. So I hope there is no issues with the return because I'm not walking the Free Way to look for a 3" peice of metal. I am Not Happy at this point and I hope that it is just a Bum Part. FYI I have a 2009 GSXR 600 with no mods. I will post a pic as soon as I can.

Ended up having to dremel the holes on the baffle core. One hole was at the 6 o'clock and the other was at about the 1 o'clock on the baffle core, while the insert has holes at the 12 and 6. Also had to dremel the holes up a tad, as this insert wouldn't reach the holes all the way. Once installed, it subdued the higher pitched, ear piercing spectrum of the exhaust and made riding it much more enjoyable. Still very loud, and it sounds a tad meaner versus hollow without it.

Diameter of the part was too large, so I had to hammer it into the core. The set screws also do not line up with the holes in the core so I could only get one of the set screws in. If your looking to quiet down the voody shorty, just do yourself a favor and get a different exhaust.

i'm not sure if this insert would make my voodoo exhaust legal, but to know that i have it on is a peace of mind. Here in california, police stop drivers and riders for anything... if i ever get stopped for having the exhaust too loud. I would tell them i have a baffle in.. so that way they will let me go :) quality made aluminum. Make sure all the bolt & nuts are secure with "red threadlock" loctite.

Poor product it broke after a week and didn’t fit

Function as it should but the holes did not line up correctly as also stated in other reviews. I had to dermal the holes to make them a little larger.

Makes the bike sound perfect! I have had it on all riding season (6 months now) and it has not fell off or gotten loose and I ride every day rain or shine. The other reviewers that claim it falls out after 1 ride must have done something wrong in installing 2 screws.... I used the red loctite to ensure they would not back out and it is still solid to this day.This is not adjustable and I did have to trim the wholes a little bigger in the exhaust core to make everything line up perfect. I still am rating 5 stars due to how amazing this simple piece of metal makes the bike sound!
