I have been on SSRI medication for anxiety for about 4 years. I would call my anxiety moderate with light depression while taking SSRI medication. I cannot increase my SSRI dose because it causes severe insomnia so I struggle every day, some days are better and some worse. I decided that I had to find an alternative to the SSRI because insomnia aside, there are significant side effects. I started taking a different Ashwagandha that only had 1% Withanolides and after doing more research found this brand that has 5%. I have been taking Ashwagandha for a month now (3 weeks on the 1% and 1 weeks on the 5%) and also taking Rhodiola Rosea (for 1 month) and I am a believer, what a difference, I feel amazing. One week ago I started to slowly, very slowly decrease the SSRI medication and I still feel amazing. Hope this helps somebody.

Now i will say i tried another brand of this will a lower dose (500mg), and it worked better. That brand only came with 60 pill supplements and cost about $12. This product like i does not seem as strong but it still works pretty good. I even like the way the bottle looks. In conclusion 180 900mg pills for only $17, its worth it, and i received the product in no time, it was very fast shipping. I am pretty sure ill buy this product again.

This is the best brand for rhodiola around. I have tried many others and nothing compared to this brand. I highly recommend it. My grandfather is diabetic and on a couple different medications for it, and with this rhodiola in this brand only he was able to cut the medication he takes in HALF! I was in a slump when I first took this with my mind all over the place but after taking this, I say that it is like a filling cabinet for your mind. It helps you to organize all the thoughts in your mind and have less of a scatter brain qnd more energy and I felt happier while taking this. I tell people all the time this rhodiola by this brand only is a miracle worker. I highly highly recommend.

I've been taking Rhodiola for several years. While I cannot offer empirical evidence, my experience is that the stuff does work. I'm 77 and have RA, but my lifestyle still demands high energy and strength. If I miss my morning dose of Rhodiola, fatigue sets in by afternoon, and I want a nap. This Rhodiola is a really good product at a very fair price. It has the highest available mg content, which I love. It keeps me from having to take a handful. I take this to keep anxiety in check, as well as balancing my immune system. I also take it at night as a sleep aide. It works! And that's the proof in the pudding . . .

I ordered these pills based on good reviews and let me tell you something. These pills smell and taste like harsh chemicals. Even after take these pills there is like this lingering chemical taste in your mouth. I've been taking rhodiola for over a year now (tried different brands) so I know how this stuff is suppose to work/taste. Something is not right here. I am used to taking 500mg daily but these 900 don't seem to do anything at all. I do not recommend and will not be buying again.

So far I have felt fine taking this rhodiola. The capsules are not too large and I have had not bad reactions. My nurse recommended it to me for extra energy, which of course I would like to have. I will continue to take it once a day.Update 5 months later...I experienced dizziness and nausea causing vomiting several times in the morning. I had no idea what could be causing this but my suspicion is that it is the rhodiola, which lowers blood pressure, and I was already taking blood pressure meds. This is not mentioned on this website but you can look it up on webmd or other medical website. There should be a warning about this!

Not so good but not so bad!I used 3 grams per day, for my training in the gym.Lot of studies are made on the rhodiola , medical research.Probably the quality is not so good of this brand.I SUGGEST THE BRAND SOLGAR , I TRIED AND YOU CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE FROM THE FIRST DAY.
