Thursday boots are what they say. They are a great boot.I bought these to wear casually and semi formally. They were a great in-between. The fit is amazing. The break in period was a little longer than expected. The first few times wearing with any longevity started to ache my feet. But after that they are a great boot.I have not tested them to see if they are water proof but I have worn them in the rain and walked through damp grass without issues. They have great traction and do not slip at all.Although the price is a little high, they are still cheaper than the bigger brands. I think they look better too

The leather on these boots was stiffer, thicker and sturdier than I expected. Most everything seems well put together, though there is a slight crease on the liner inside the boot near my big toe. It seems to be less noticeable as the leather softens up with use. The stitching, soles etc all seems good. It may seem a small thing, but I rather like the laces as they are stiff don't come untied easily while walking. Overall, I think the quality is good for the price and the boot feels good on my foot.Sizing, for me, runs a bit small but that is because I have a 4E foot. I have no idea how that might change for someone with a narrower foot. This might also have something to do with the fact that the toe box is narrow by design. Everyone is different in how they like their boots to fit so that is more of a personal preference thing. (I am one whole size up, in D from my Brannock and half a size in the EE models.)Outside of the reviews I am used to a lug style sole but got the studded soles. Be prepared for your feet to adjust to these if you have never worn them as they are quite hard underfoot!Anyway, I think these are a good value boot for someone wanting to try different styles at a lower price (like me).

The quality is great and the look is amazing.

Not sure why a lot of people are saying you need a half size down. These people might aspire to uve bigger feet and dont wear their true to size. I initially bought a half size down and these boots were too tight. I bought my regular size in all footwear which is size 9 and these boots fit perfectly. Im not going to go on a oong review since theres plenty of reviews for this name brand on youtube. Needless to say that the quality is up there and is much higher than the usual boots i always bought my entire life. Those boot were from timberland. The difference in quality is verg noticable. Timberland does make a more expensive line of boots but the sole is tiny. I wore these boots out and they are comfortable and easy to style with basically anything. This boot is easily doable for watching a football game at bar with friends or a date night with your girl. If your a short guy these are the only boots that will make you grow a couple of inches without the boot looking Femenine. I highly recommend and will be getting another pair in a different style and color.

Great boot that I get compliments on. As others have said order a size smaller than usual, I wear a 12 and ordered an 11. The tongue does not stay put for whatever reason and always migrated to the side by the end of the day. I can’t feel this, it causes no discomfort and can’t be seen from the outside so it’s just a minor annoyance. Quality is top notch, definitely nice leather that you will smell in the closet for the first couple months. I have walked miles up and down hills in San Francisco, hiked in Virginia, and braved cobblestone European streets. Would buy again and am hoping to buy one of their jackets soon.

The leather is nice quality. The boots arrive well packaged wrapped in plastic before boxed. They also have a decent shine on them out of the box. I decided to oil them before wearing them since I knew I would be getting them wet a lot. They soaked up a ton of mink oil before I polished them. The leather is soft and flexible for comfortable wearing all day. They are not foam tennis shoes so don’t expect them to feel soft but the heal and the leather break in nice for a custom fit. For reference I am 250 lbs and I walk 8-10 miles a day in my boots. It’s been a challenge to find something that doesn’t kill my feet. These boots provide stability that other shoes have not given me. The only issue I have is the rubber soles are super slick especially on wet metal surfaces.

For a guy that has flat & wide feet these boots fit like a dream. I’ve worn these boots with thin dress socks and thicker hiking type socks and they feel great. These are my second pair of Thursday Boots shoes, I have the dress sneakers as well and the boots fit better. One quality I love about Thursday Boots & shoe's is the new leather smell. I’ve had both my pairs for some time and the new leather smell is still with them.

I loved this boots initially (break in was a bit rough). They look awesome and they smell like high quality leather! However, after three months of casual use, the soles are completely distentigrating. I am not happy about it at all. I purchased these to replace my Danner Jack boots that I purchased... 6 YEARS AGO!!The Thursdays look almost as worn as my Danners (last picture) after 3 months! Both boots had about the same weekly use. I could not believe how fast the Thursdays are falling apart on me. I recommend going with a different brand for sure unless you plan on taking these to a cobbler, because you'll need to do so shortly after buying.

I am very glad I ordered these boots. I was a little worried about some folks saying they ordered a size smaller than their normal size. Then I saw a recommendation on Thursday's site to order the same size as you wear in leather dress shoes. I did this which also corresponds to my normal shoe/boot size and they're a good fit.Even before I opened the Amazon packaging I could tell these boots were quality the moment I picked the package up from the porch. The package was hefty. These are well made boots and they look the part.I was considering treating the leather before I wore them for the first time but checked on Thursday's site for care instructions. It's a good thing I did as they do not recommend any treatment for the Rough and Resilient range of leathers which the Tobacco boots are.I did a 2Km walk in them today to start the break in. They are very supportive in the midsole and have good grip/traction. Understandably because they are new they're somewhat stiff but not overly so and I can tell it will not take too long to break in. I feel these will be a very comfortable boot once they're fully broke in. While I cannot speak to durability yet I feel they will last for years and years based on how they're made and of course taking care of them. Overall I am extremely pleased with these boots.

Just tried them on. They need breaking in but first impressions are that the quality is great and can feel once the leather loosens that overall they’ll be really comfortable. Already looking at their website for my next pair. They have a great variety range. After a pair of Chelsea’s next for a slip on option, but a smart pair of lace-ups is what I initially needed. Overall really impressed. Fit is perfect as a UK size 9 and the laces have great length on them too. Looking forward to seeing how cool the boots look as they age and patina. Overall, really impressed with these!

These boots are amazing I've worn them every day since I received them in the mail it takes a lil while for them to wear in because of the cork sole but they're really becoming even better I cant wait till it begins to age further

Very nice solid leather.

Great looking and fitting boot. Only minor negative, they scruff easily so daily polishing is a must to keep them looking sharp.
