The app twinkly chroma connector app needs to be open (ie always on your task bar) for the lights to sync with your razer RGB accessories....I was hoping it would integrate nicely but its janky at best

I watched all the manufacturers videos on this product. It is made to look like you can bend it in any shape and put it about anywhere. I thought I'd be able to change it often and put it in my window. IE egg for Easter, heart for valentines, star etc. They completely hide the fact that you have to screw brackets to the wall at every twist and turn off the shape to hold it there. So 1- you have to mount it to a wall or board type surface. 2- you must secure it with 5-10ish screws depending on the design. The ammount of work it's going to take would be ok for a permanent design but not for something you'll want to change.I'm sure it's super cool if that's your intention. I have twinkly lights on my Christmas tree and they ate AMAZING. But this flex just isn't what I was hoping for.

On a lot of displays in electronic stores, it appears as if the lights are able to stand on their own (I particularly purchased this because I saw it standalone in the shape of a heart), however, the lights must be mounted to some sort of backing. It isn't the easiest to bend and its quite cumbersome to shape and adhere to a surface. The colors are nice and its a lovely light, but a little overpriced & disappointed.
